The Junior Boys Volleyball team won their first playoff game against Romeo Dallaire in 3 straight sets. Great serving by Andrew and Remy and defense from Cayden. They play Nouvelle Alliance on Wednesday.
The Senior Boys Volleyball team advanced to the next round of playoffs after defeating Unity Christian in 5 games. They play Penetanguishene on Wednesday.

Volleyball team on their first playoff win
yesterday against Romeo Dallaire. The boys
came out strong and kept the pressure on
winning in 3 straight sets. Great serving by
Andrew and Remy and awesome defense
from Cayden. Please wish the boys good luck
as they head to Nouvelle Alliance on
Wednesday. Great job boys!

4. Congratulations to the Senior Boys Volleyball
team. They advanced to the next round of the
playoffs after defeating Unity Christian in a nail
biting 5 game set. The team travels to
Penetanguishene on Wednesday to face Le Caron.
The team would like to thank their chief
scorekeeper Mr. French and his assistants for
their help. They’d also like to thank those fans
that came out to show their support.

5. Take Our Kids to Work Day
Wednesday November 6th is “Take Our Kids to Work Day” in the province of Ontario. All grade 9
students are encouraged to go to work for the day with a family member, neighbor or friend to learn
about a particular field of work. There are lots of options out there and many employers have
designed great programs for students for that day.
If you haven’t secured a workplace to attend or don’t know where to go and want some help- Blue
Mountain resort in Collinwood has organized a day full of hands-on, fun activities in four different
resort departments. AND, they will serve you lunch. Learn about their recreation activity
department, culinary services, lodging and operation activities.

McLeod in guidance for more information and a registration form.
Students interested in participating in this great opportunity must sign up before October 30th.
7. There will be a Girls Hockey meeting
in room 203 today at the beginning
of lunch.
Any girls interested in playing on the
team this year are to come to the
meeting as we need to know our
numbers.

What would you do with $1000?
If you want a chance at winning an annual
OSSTF/FEESO Student Achievement Award, you
need to create an original piece of writing, art or
media on this year’s theme One Strong Woman.
The submission deadline is November 15th. Your
application package will go through a school,
district, regional, and provincial competition. For
