2. Our SCI Terry Fox Run is taking place on Friday October
11th. Our goal is to raise $1000. Pledge forms have gone
home.

Last night the senior girl’s basketball team
travelled to Orillia to take on Twin Lakes
Secondary School.
Despite the loss, this was the best game so far for
this season for our Spartans. The girls were
aggressive , found space and successfully ran a
motion offense. Coaches Denbok and Baldry are
proud of the strides the team is making.
Player of the game goes to Ali M. for her
rebounding, defense and touch one-on-one play.
The growing confidence and improvement of the
entire team is wonderful to see and we look
forward to our game at Le Caron tomorrow.
4. Congratulations to the Senior Boys Volleyball for
their efforts in last night’s match. Unfortunately
the team lost the set to an experienced squad
from Le Carron. Nice try fellas!
Would those members of the team planning to
play in this afternoon’s match please let Mr. Mac
know this morning- as soon as possible.

OSSTF/FEESO Student Achievement Award, you
need to create an original piece of writing, art or
media on this year’s theme One Strong Woman.
The submission deadline is November 15th. Your
application package will go through a school,
district, regional, and provincial competition. For
