3. Links between our products
Both our products link very well with each other as we have used two similar types of
images for both our product which makes it look as they are linked together. This creates a
synergistic element between both product and is east to tell that they both represent the
same album. The use of the artist in the front of both product is effective, when it comes
to linking both products. For example if you saw the magazine advert and want to by the
digipak all you would need to look for is the artists face.
4. Connections The use of the same font for both the
titles shows the synergistic element
in both our magazine advert and our
digipak
The use of the same text style in any writing that is d
on both the digipak and the magazine advert. This w
done to create a link between both products.
The use of the backpack
on both the digiback and
the magazine advert
along with the costume
the artist is wearing.This
was done so that they
could easily recgnise that
both the digipak and the
magazine advert were
for the same album
6. Our digipak used 6 panels. Our first 3 panels had our artist on them. For the panel we used for our front cover we had the artist
facing towards the camera and we did the opposite for the back with the artist back on the cover. This gave the sense of us
showing the raw artist on the album cover. We also used the same location for our first 3 panels to show the synergistic element
of our product. We wanted all three of these images to link with each other.
Our Next 3 panels include the skateboard and the artist himself. We wanted to use the skateboard to appeal to our
target audience and make them relate to our artist. We used the artist for our cd panel as we wanted to promote him
the most and we taught that the disk should have his face so that people know that he is the artist to this cd.
7. How do you feel about your final
products?
I personally feel that my three products were very successful and the music video was
done to a good standers to show this melodic house track and the artist himself. I think
that the music video reflect very well on what the song stands for and that the two print
products we produced support our music video well through the synergistic elements we
used. One thing that I would do differently is explore London more and grab more shots of
London to show in our music video. I think we lacked some shots which limited our
footage.
