5. Types of Recount Text
• Retells an event that the writer was personally involved in.
• Eg: Holiday at home, watching a world cup, etc.
Personal
Recount
• It is certain that this event actually happened.
• Eg: Titanic, Corona Virus, etc.
Factual
Recount
• Tells of an event in the past that didn't actually happen or was just
an imagination.
• Eg: Dream of being a Superhero

7. Generic Stucture
Orientation
The background information of the person such as
full name, place and date of birth. (who, what, when,
and where)
