6. Collect a slip containing your topic.

Prepare while waiting.
7. There are several ways to deliver a speech:
1) By memory
2) By reading from a fully written manuscript
but being familiar enough to keep eye contact.
3) Speaking extemporaneously from a
memorized or written outline.
4) Speaking “impromptu” on the spur of the
moment.
8. DO
Speak naturally and make eye contact.
• Move normally (Less)
• Stay focused on your material.
• Ask questions and answer them
9. DON’T
• Comment on your own performance.
* Apologize for your speaking,
• Don’t miss eye contact
• Give up.
10. REHEARSAL
• Write down speeches. (Points)
• Say your speeches loud in front of mirror
• Remove words which are uncomfortable.
• Practice, practice, practice.
14. Participants will form four groups.
Facilitator will help in group formation.
Each group will get a copy of the story.
Group will discuss and write down the
answer points.
