GUI Design of Cross-platform Multi-robot Control Platform September 2014 - June 2015
· Designed a graphical user interface for multi-robot control using Qt software in C++ under Linux.
· Developed the full life cycle of this application including: design, implementation, release and sustaining and
applied the application in robotics research in Cooperative Vehicle Networks Lab of UC Riverside.
· Implemented the robot formation control system composed of Adept Pioneer 3-AT robot platform, Mobile
Robots Inc AmigoBot platform and iRobot Create platform.
Experimentation for Multi-Agent Distributed Shortest Distance Algorithm and SLAM algorithm
on Pioneer 3-AT Robots December 2015 - September 2016
· Applied the shortest distance algorithm to achieve robots’ navigation and motion planning.
· Achieved robots’ multi-client and multi-server telecommunication networking based on TCP/IP.
· Achieved multi-robot real time control with ROS node communication by multi-thread programming.
· Implemented SLAM simulation and obstacle avoidance algorithm with analyzing the data of surroundings
acquired from camera and sonar devices.
CLAHE Image Enhancement Algorithm Implementation Based on GPU Parallel Calculation Ac-
celeration March 2015 - June 2015
· Mapped image data to CUDA texture memory and built texture object to OpenCV.
· Implemented CLAHE algorithm with different kernels: generated initial histogram, redistributed the histogram,
generated new image by using bilinear interpolation.
· Increased algorithm running speed with parallel computing which is 4 times faster than original version compared
with implementation on CPU.

· Developed and sustained the multi-robot control platform in COVEN Lab.
