2. Application of CBN/PCBN Inserts
PCBN Inserts are suitable for dry cutting, hard turning, high speed cutting, ect. And
especially for CNC Machine tools. PCBN can be used for the following materials:
(1) Hardened Steel and Abrasive resistant cast iron which hardness is above HRC45(such
as hardened steel HRC45~65, Bearing Steel HRC60~62, High Speed Steel HRC>62, Tool
Steel HRC57~60, Chilled Cast iron, ect)
(2) Heat resistant alloy above HRC35(Superalloy, Spraying Materials and tungsten
carbide,ect)
(3)Cast Iron below HRC30, such as gray cast iron,ect.
About 70% CBN Inserts are used in automtive industry,and about 20% percent are used for
heavy machine industry,such as wear resistant parts in Minng Industry. we mainly
introduce the cbn inserts for heavy turning industry.

15. Wear-resistant castings are mainly made of high-manganese steel and high-chromium
cast iron, in addition to crushing cone and pump these two typical components, there are
other common parts, such as high manganese steel liner, high manganese steel roller,
High chrome cast iron liner, high chrome cast iron roll and so on. For these components,
We have researched special CBN grades: BN-S20, BN-S10, BN-K1, BN-K1 (HL) and
so on.
