East Anglia is a region in eastern England that includes the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, and parts of Essex. It has diverse landscapes including the Fens, Broads, and Breckland. The Fens is a low-lying wetland area used for farming vegetables and flowers. The Broads contains many rivers and lakes that were dug by hand for harvesting peat. It is now a national park popular for holidays. Breckland is located on the Norfolk-Suffolk border and has poor soils naturally suited for heathland. It is used for forestry and military training.
