2. For some reason, the graph would not copy onto this
PowerPoint! So I am giving you the result code which you
can type in on the results page to see my graph. I hope its
okay with you!
As you know the url is
http://www.bgfl.org/bgfl/custom/resources_ftp/client_ftp
/ks3/ict/multiple_int/questions/choose_lang.cfm
The secret code is: 4fdt405004.
3. I agree with the chart on everything but on the Musical part, I feel like it should
be higher because I do love music. But other than that, the chart basically
summed me up!
I scored higher on the linguistics part than any other because I am very good
with words. I like to write a lot and read a lot, so I guess that helps. I also
scored high in the intrapersonal area because I am still sort of a shy-
like, reserved sort of person. I am very observant and I watch what others do
sometimes. I also scored high in the interpersonal area because I tend to be a
good friend and try to help them out with whatever they need. I scored fine I
the musical area because I don’t play any instruments but I do sing. In the
kinesthetic area, I scored ok because I play my the Michael Jackson Dance and
the Just Dance 3 games on my XBox 360 Kinect . I also play outside sometimes.
but rarely. In the visual/spatial area I scored fine but I do wear glasses so I may
not be that good without them! In logical area, I scored the same in the
visual/spatial area probably because I am not that familiar with numbers. In
the naturalistic area, I scored the lowest. Probably because I am not that
familiar with nature and I don’t travel in the woods that often.
4. Well based on the chart, my strongest intelligences are
Linguistics, Intrapersonal, and Interpersonal.
A list of three topics I have enjoyed in the course this far has been Nature Vs.
Nurture, Developmental Psychology, & Learning.
For Nature & Nurture, a good assignment based on my intelligences would be
creating a story about a man who is influenced by his environment and
genetics. He has this power (via genetics) that allows him to change into any
person, shape, or form he chooses. He falls in love with this woman, who is a
regular human. However, the world he lives in (a.k.a his environment) won’t
allow him to marry a mortal. He has choose whether he will keep his power or
marry the woman he loves. Students would have to explain the nature-nurture
impact on his life (How did he get his powers? How does his environment
affect him as well?) and his two choices (How will both his genetics or
environment affect the outcome of his choice?) They will have to explain how
both of his options will affect him if he chooses them. And then write their
ending to his story.
This will help me in my Linguistics area with my vocabulary and writing skills
while still helping me assess what I have learned in Nature Vs. Nurture.
5. For Developmental Psychology, I could study a classmate’s development. I
could look at their life as an infant, child, and now teenager.
By using a classmate, I can build upon my people skills and get to know my
classmates better. This would help me in the Interpersonal area and allow me
learn more about my fellow peers and connect with others.
With Learning, I write how my parents have used reinforcement and
punishment to help discipline me in my life.
This will help me look at my discipline skills but also take a look at my
upbringing with the Intrapersonal are. By using a self-reference, it will help
me understand how learning relates to my life and then I can understand it
even more.
