Zheng He was a Chinese explorer who lived from 1371 to 1433. He led seven voyages of exploration for the Ming Dynasty to areas including India, the Middle East, and East Africa. Over 28,000 men served on Zheng He's fleet of over 300 ships. His voyages established Chinese maritime power and trading relationships with other civilizations.
