This document summarizes a master's graduation project that examines regenerating the postwar Dommelbeemd neighborhood in Eindhoven, Netherlands into a more sustainable urban area. The neighborhood faces issues with livability, sustainability, and adaptability. The project will study Dommelbeemd's physical, environmental, social, design, and economic limitations and potentials. The goal is to develop strategies and designs to achieve sustainability through local mobility based on public transit and cycling, making Dommelbeemd carbon neutral, minimizing inputs and outputs, and creating a self-sufficient local economy to support community life.
