● We have the capacity for Continual Progress
monitoring
● We have the capacity to address Cause for Concerns
immediately, and put interventions into place
● We have the capacity to offer enrichment that
meets the needs for all and enrichment that is
student led

Monitoring and tracking performance
● We use aspirational targets set by the Senior Team,
along National Benchmarks such as ALPS
● We use focussed tutorial sessions to mentor and
ensure students are on track
● We use 1:1 Progress mentoring with specialist staff
for students wishing to go into medicine or wishing
to apply for Oxford, Cambridge or others in the
Russell Group
● We will be forensic in our analysis

● We must build on our positive start
● We must support students in developing
independence, resilience and a “Thirst for learning”
● We must support students to plan for their future
This starts with learning outside of lesson time.
This means one additional hour of learning for every
hour in the class.
