Start by logging onto yahoo.com. It will bring you to a page that looks like this:

On the sidebar, you will see other features such as: mail, weather, games,
groups, etc. These all give you different opportunities to connect with people and other sources
real time! But for now, we’re going to create an e-mail account. Start by clicking mail either in
the top right corner or at the top of the sidebar.
It will then bring you to a page that looks like this:

To create an account, you will have to click create new account on the right.
After that, you will come to page that looks like this:

Fill in all of the information (as I have already done) which includes making a screen name and
password, as shown above. Each username has to be different. As you can see, you can also
include other information such as your phone number. When this is done, click “Create
account” at the bottom.

Success! You have now created your Yahoo! Account! The page will then redirect you, and will
look something like this:
This inbox allows you to personalize with a theme. For right now, we are not going to do that,
so we will click the Not Now button, unless you would like to follow through with choosing a
theme!
(At the bottom left – as directed in the picture below – you can change you theme at any time,
as directed)

This is your inbox! Here you have the chance to compose, send, and receive e-mails, which can
include pictures, links, documents, and much more! You can also add to your contacts, create
events in your own calendar, and even instant message – which allows you to talk to your
contacts REAL TIME. You even have the option of a notepad, which can be utilized on any
account you have your e-mail linked to, such as your iPhone or Android device.

Congratulations! You have created your Yahoo! account and can now collaborate real time with
people from across the globe anywhere! You have also created an account with a website that
will sometimes stream live video (presidential debates, the Olympics, etc) from the home page.
Yahoo is a great website that is limitless as to what it can do. What will Yahoo! do for you?
