This Online Webinar took place on October 3, 2020, and was organized by Artificial Intelligence & Cloud Toronto. The focus of this webinar was on how to effectively write research papers in Data Science.
Research is a careful and detailed study into a specific problem, concern, or issue using the scientific method. It provides the building block upon which societal growth and advancement are hinged. Research also helps us study patterns in the past, feelings, attitudes, opinions, and then use it to determine what should happen next.
The business world is heavily informed by academic research. Businesses use research to understand markets and make profitable decisions. Research has left an indelible mark on society and will forever be the basis for any genuine advancement in human society.

Are you interesting in offering data management services at your library but aren’t sure where to start? Then this class is for you! During this session, we will
• Outline the data management topics that are commonly offered in libraries
• Present strategies for how to determine what services might be most useful on your campus and create synergistic partnerships with other university entities
• Dive into how to offer support with data management plans
• Present a case study for using an institutional repository to archive and share research data
• Identify additional training opportunities and open educational resources you can use to develop robust DM services
The class will consist of a mix of presentations, hands on activities, and discussion. So come ready to participate!
OBJECTIVES:
To understand the importance of publication and its challenges.
To increase the visibility and accessibility of published papers.
To increase the chance of getting publications cited.
To disseminate the publication by using “Research Tools” effectively.
To increase the chance of research collaboration.
Research and the art of doing what you want !!Satyajeet Raje
This talk was given to students in the third year of their Computer Engineering degree program at the University of Pune, India. It was intended to instill ideas of basic research methodology and that research is not something other-worldly. The message was that they can perform "research" in what they do everyday. The talk was very interactive, encouraging students to clarify their misconceptions about research.
Delivered by Prof. Togar Simatupang.
