It gives me immense pleasure to speak about the awareness activities taken up by India Youth for Society. A colleague of mine requested me to attend to their events. I did not pay much attention. In fact, I was always busy with my work. So, I could not find time to go. But I had a thought of helping the young people in some way. One day I went to an event to find out what I could do for them. I realized that my involvement is needed more than money. Gradually, I indulged myself in all the activities. Today I am heading the team.

Canada World Youth - Canadian senator Presentation - February 25th 2015Graham Shonfield
On February 25th 2015, 10 Canada World Youth participants were chosen to attend a meeting in Jakarta with 9 Canadian senators. The senators were there to meet with parliamentarians and governments to strengthen the relationship between Canada and Indonesia. We created the presentation the day before, staying up until 2AM to finish it! Our presentation described a Youth Leaders in Action, Canada World Youth trip. We went over the core values of the program which include the counterpart relationship, living with host families and being a part of a group as well as volunteering and building community in the places you're living. We also talked about community engagement, sector projects in Indonesia, working with the local youth and Educational Activity Days. We also explained the skills that we had gained through participating in a trip like this and what being a part of this program means to us.
We performed the Saman dance, had lunch with the senators and had a few moments to really have conversations with them about Canada World Youth. It was an incredible opportunity and I know we were all very proud of our presentation.

Wow Bali International Sustainable and Wellness InitiativeHai Dai
As an international destination, the renowned island of Bali never fails to captivate visitors with wonderful natural attractions and unique culture. Bali has been an epitome of ‘paradise’ to many tourists. But beyond the exoticized image of Bali lies a deeply entrenched tradition that keeps the Balinese cultural and social fabric intact. It runs in all practices of the Balinese that it hardly escapes the curious
and sensitive gaze of any tourist. This is the Tri Hita Karana, the three sources of natural aesthetics according to the Balinese; a “human centered design” of harmonious relationships with people to people, people with nature, and people with the divine.
Inspired by the Tri Hita Karana, our local community partners in Bali are collaborating with WOW Bali International Initiative to share its vision of a Global Banjar, where visitors from all over the world can come to Bali to experience a sustainable lifestyle and learning about one of the world’s living ancient cultures in the pristine ecological villages of Bali. We designed ‘WOW Paradise’ authentic experience to share ecological and cultural practices by the Balinese to inspire you to continue living a sustainable lifestyle long after your visit here in ‘paradise’.
In learning about the traditional processes of the Tri Hita Karana, which ties with the whole Balinese way of living, you will be actively participating in the preservation of ‘Old Bali’ and the enduring sense of ‘paradise’ that it evokes.
WOW experiences are guaranteed to make you more dynamic in living and relating harmoniously with nature. Our award winning team from “Wow Paradise”, WOW Bali International 'Sustainable Dynamic' Collective and International Sustainability and Wellness Initiative, will show you the building blocks of experiences that are connected to our human relationships, our ecology, and the divine.
Brief outline of WOW Bali progress in "Sustainable Dynamic" Development for the year of 201-2014. Based on Ms. Kim Calderon, Academic Researcher for The Development Academy of The Philippines.
Wow Bali is an internationally recognized program on regenerative sustainable development that started in 2012 in Bali, Indonesia. WOW Bali Co-founder and Creative Director Hai Dai Nguyen developed the Sustainable Dynamics Framework based on his case studies of grassroots sustainable community-based ecotourism best practices in Bali, Indonesia since 2008. “Sustainable Dynamics” are the forces and properties that enable a community to coexist and operate interdependently.
WOW Bali program and projects are sustained through mutualism and creative economics with its partners, allowing for the regeneration of new initiatives. The program used to operate under the Yayasan Tri Hita Karana Bali, an organization founded on the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana—the core of the Balinese belief system, which traces the “causes of goodness” on a harmonious relationship between God, people, and nature. Tri Hita Karana Bali exists to educate both adults and children about organic farming practices. Through its various projects and workshops, it is able to sustain its advocacy towards preserving the Bali culture and raise environmental awareness through the principles of permaculture.
In 2015, after three years of developing sustainable local initiatives, WOW Bali evolved from being a program into its very own Yayasan Global Banjar Internasional with the support of its long-term local partners.

WOW Bali’s International Initiative for Sustainability and Wellness presents “Dynamic Wellness.”
After 15 years of extensive research, we found that it is important to “collectively sustain” at the community level in order to prevent the loss of biodiversity; the massive
extinctions happening in our ecological environment. The approach has been internationally recognized as “HOLISTIC PARTICIPATORY” model, which has been
academically case studied as a “Dynamic Wellness” solution;recently in 2014 presented as “the top sustainability and wellness framework in South East Asia.”
Ecologically conscious stakeholders have been brought together via mutualism and creative economics through active exchanges to share resources that can
exponentially regenerate through “Sustainable Tourism.” In this WOW presentation, we will share the evolution of our research and development—a combination of fusing
ancient cultures with modern methodologies, shifting perceptions towards dynamic well being through a “reverse osmosis” in the building blocks of experiences. This immediate astounding change will provide new opportunities to participate and for you to initiate positive actions towards a more fruitful abundance in living dynamic relationships. This is the real Wow Paradise!

Meeting briefing-notes- Cultural-Solidarity for WOW BaturHai Dai
Highlights of Exchange:
1. Mr. Hai Dai shared to the group that he was invited by the ASEAN Youth Leadership Congress to be a Guest Speaker for the Panel Session ASEAN Cultural Solidarity while Jaz Linh was invited in the Panel on ASEAN Economic Security. The Congress will be held in the Philippines on 1-2 December 2016.
2. Cultural Solidarity in the ASEAN Region is a huge challenge and WOW Bali is privileged to contribute to international discussions pertaining to the matter because of our “WOW Dynamics” Human Biodiversity Framework based on Tri Hita Karana undersanding for a “Lean Culture”.
Even within one’s own culture, one experiences problems, which makes bridging with people from other cultures in the ASEAN more challenging. The organizers believe that WOW Bali can speak on the topic as he approaches the subject from the “Human Biodiversity” Framework. This means that at the level of human biodiversity, we are all the same.
3. To facilitate connections with other cultures, we need to have solidarity within our own culture. Once your own cultural solidarity is strong, it’s easier to bridge into other culture. Cultural solidaity in practice can be exemplified in the following:
Salam hangat, salam sejahtera,

These collections are about our ‘Celebration Circle.’ It has been our personal ‘initiation’ into the mystery of creating a jewelry collection that goes beyond what we traditionally think as ‘work of art.’
We intensively research the reasons for creating such a jewelry collections. We even moved our family to a remote village, next to Taman Ayun Temple (recently selected as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO) to live among the local people. We wanted to experience first hand the sacredness of such a creative culture. This process has helped us to better understand the meaning of living and being in ‘illumination.’
We ended up with a collection that went beyond how jewelry is perceived to us! Beyond the deliverables of creative products, we wanted to share ‘ancient fragments’ of wisdom from a culture such as Bali and philosophies of the ancient. In short, we landed through a ‘strengthening’ to a place of ‘knowing,’ hence our collections is called ‘Moments in Expressions.’
We found the root word of ‘jewelry’ leads back to the Latin word ‘jocale,’ meaning plaything; this definitely changed our creative processes. ‘Moment of Expression’ collections hope to influence your expressive moments through contagious enthusiasm. We believe through creative actions of creating your personal adornment; with you as the masterpiece, will affirm your intent for a more dynamic to live and play.
We hope by initiating playful and sagacious meanings via our
jewelry collections, it will create and intensify new expressions for living in celebrations.
The initiation of your celebrations and/or just in your every day living can begin with ‘Moments in Expression.’ We wish to affirm your intentions with inspirational ‘playthings’ for those adorn moments to inspire living each moment as an expressive ‘living art!’
Love and Light,
Tracy Christine Nguyen
This presentation is the start of WOW Bali’s research and development for a creative autonomous exchange that can be utilized to connect the understanding of love via creativity and visa versa. We hope to go beyond the lump sum and understanding of what “love and creativity” means from just the emotional context. Unless we can develop one of the greatest emotions of our lives so that it can be “energy for motion, it will creates blockage to sustain within.
Our goals are the define the alikeness and via its similarities and differences that connect us at the human level. This sustainable human development processes of “Love and Creativity” seemed to be the backbone of sustainable development for a more holistic participatory approach. Please help share and create new dialogs.

WOW Bali represents at Indonesia’s first FEALAC Youth Conference!
WOW Bali is heading to Bandung, Indonesia to present at first
Indonesia Forum on East Asia and Latin America Cooperation
(FEALAC) Youth Conference (IFYC) on 18–22 September 2015.
Creative Director and Co-Founder Hai Dai Nguyen will be sharing
“WOW Dynamics: Path to Freedom” to 72 youth participants from 36
countries in East Asia and Latin America. The presentation will focus
on human-centered approach to empower the youth towards social and
environmental transformation via dynamic wellness and creative
autonomy. Local initiatives in Bali that are anchored on sustainability,
wellness and creative collaborations will be showcased as models of
social-holistic entrepreneurship towards mobility and economic
freedom.
In the summer of 2013, Nguyen shared his research on Pemuteran,
Buleleng, a marine-based tourism model as an affective tool for
community-based development at a FEALAC Seminar on Sustainable
Tourism and Tourism Ethics. His presentation was also shared at
United Nations World Tourism workshop with Dr. Dirk Glaesser,
UNWTO Acting Director of Sustainable Development of Tourism
Programme on the focus of “holistic participatory” model. His project
2. served as a case study for Agriculture Productions Organization, World
Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF), The Development Academy of the
Philippines and recently cased studied by ASEAN Biodiversity Centre
as the “Human Biodiversity” framework.
Nguyen’s presentation goes beyond the social aspects of community
development. It serves as a model to providing professional skills the
young and ultimately the wellbeingof an entire community. WOW’s
Dynamics combined sustainable tourism, youth training and
community partnerships to create a holistic approach to sustainable
living. The “Empowering the Atlantic-Pacific Net” IFYC 2015
conference is hosted by the Government of Indonesia through the
Ministry of Youth and Sports and organized in cooperation with On
That Point Foundation. The conference aims to bring together youth
and facilitate dialogue and social relationships from FEALAC member
countries. Youth delegates will be undertaking Workshops and
Brainstorming (Minilab) on Youth Mentality, Online Development,
and Marine-based Entrepreneurship. They will also participate in
Entrepreneurial Visits to Creative Businesses in the Bandung area.
"International gatherings such as the IFYC 2015 have always been an
inspiring potent force of collective creativity and social change. And
for that we are excited to participate and share the work of WOW Bali
to the youths of the world, especiallyin East Asia and Latin America."
Expressed by Ms. Kim Calderon, Senior Academic Researcher and
WOW International Coordinator.
WOW Bali will be participating in the Public Conference on 21
September 2015 to establish the FEALAC Youth Council and a Joint
Declaration. Hai Dai Nguyen will be presenting his work alongside
Yuri Romero, a renowned marine geologist devoted to the sustainable
development of marine ecological areas. Nguyen is excited about these
commitments from FEALAC Youth Conference, since the ocean
crucial in sustainable development on so many levels.“It should not be
called a conference; but with the ocean theme, the opportunities we are
creating and all the youths from developing countries; it should be
called a CELEBRATIONS!” said Hai Dai Nguyen, who also takes this
“empowerment” theme with the ocean to heart since “my name is also
3. one of the oldest characters in Asia that means ‘Big Ocean’.”
