10. Miranda Yeager, Chief Client Officer at
Gateway Health Partners, is a seasoned
professional with over two decades of
experience driving innovation and
excellence in healthcare. With a
multifaceted background spanning account
management, sales, product development,
operations, and clinical management,
Miranda has established herself as a pace-
setter in the industry.
With her background supporting health
plans, PBMs, specialty pharmacy, and
others, Miranda excels at identifying and
capitalizing on opportunities in partners' go-
to-market strategies. Her strategic insight
and leadership are instrumental in managing
client relationships and driving
collaborative growth. In her role, she
oversees account management and clinical
services teams to ensure optimal outcomes
for clients.
At Gateway Health Partners, Miranda is
dedicated to combining her business
acumen with technical expertise to deliver
unparalleled client service. Her passion for
fostering deep relationships based on
transparency, authenticity, and radical
candor sets her apart as a leader in the field.
Under her guidance, Gateway Health
Partners has become known for delivering
best-in-class service and lowest net cost
through a unique "stand-alone"
pharmaceutical purchasing model.
Miranda's impressive career includes roles
at CatalystRx Health Solutions (later
Catamaran) and WellPoint/Anthem. Early
in her career, she served as Director of
Clinical Pharmacy at BCBS of North
Carolina. She holds a pharmacy degree
from Auburn University and a Master's in
Pharmaceutical Policy and Evaluative
Sciences from the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill, underscoring her
commitment to continuous learning and
excellence in her field.
A Pillar of Strength and Compassion
Miranda is known for her level-headedness
and maintaining a calm demeanor in
challenging situations. Many see her as a
stabilizing presence both at work and in
personal matters. Miranda's strengths are
seen as articulateness, clarity, precision, and
the ability to foster consensus on complex
issues. Miranda is approachable and
genuine, prioritizing responsiveness and
loyalty to her clients. Beyond her
professional life, she is dedicated to her
roles as a wife, stepmother, dog owner,
daughter, and sister. She actively engages in
volunteer work like providing music to
people with disabilities and distributing
Thanksgiving meals to families in need. In
her leisure time, Miranda enjoys word
games, puzzles, and is a passionate fan of
Carolina Hurricanes hockey and Alabama
football.
A Dynamic Journey
Miranda's journey in the pharmaceutical
and healthcare industry has been diverse
and enriching. She began her career as a
pharmacist, gaining valuable experience in
retail before transitioning to a role as a sales
representative for Glaxo, now known as
Glaxo SmithKline. It was during this time
that Miranda honed skills such as
preparedness and effective presentation,
which she continues to utilize today.
Feeling the need to deepen her
understanding of the healthcare system,
Miranda pursued further education, earning
her master's degree focused on
pharmacoeconomics. This led her to roles in
consulting and eventually to Blue Cross
Blue Shield of North Carolina, where she
played a pivotal role in transitioning the
pharmacy plan to a more managed care
system.
Miranda's desire to be on the forefront of
providing pharmacy solutions led her to

merged with Anthem and then was
acquired by Express Scripts. Over the
span of a decade, Miranda contributed
significantly to various aspects of
pharmacy benefit management, from
responding to proposals to managing
client accounts and implementing
Medicare Part D.
In 2010, Miranda took on a new challenge
by joining Catalyst, where she oversaw
state and government account
management. Through mergers and
transitions, she remained committed to
her role, eventually joining Gateway
Health Partners to help develop and
expand their client services program.
Miranda's experience working with
companies of varying sizes, from large
corporations to startups, has equipped her
with a unique entrepreneurial mindset,
enabling her to drive growth and achieve
key milestones for Gateway
HealthPartners.
Gender-Neutral Leadership
Miranda's perspective on growth and
development transcends gender
distinctions. For her, it's a continuous
process, independent of gender identity.
She emphasizes the importance of staying
updated with evolving skills,
technologies, and approaches, both within
and outside the industry. Over her
extensive career, she's witnessed
significant transformations and
understands the necessity of staying ahead
of the curve.
When considering qualities for emerging
leaders, Miranda prioritizes a balance of
confidence and humility. While
confidence in one's abilities is crucial, she
values the humility to recognize
opportunities for further learning. Hunger
for knowledge and growth, coupled with
confidence devoid of arrogance, are traits
she seeks in new leaders. Additionally, she
values adaptability and a willingness to
undertake diverse tasks within one's
capabilities.
Strong communication skills are paramount
to Miranda when identifying potential
leaders. She believes in fostering a culture of
transparency where withholding information
for personal gain is discouraged. Moreover,
she emphasizes the importance of delivering
difficult messages with tact and clarity,
recognizing the impact of effective
communication on organizational culture and
growth.
Keys to Success
Miranda attributes several factors to her
success throughout her career. One crucial
aspect is her ability to listen attentively and
speak purposefully, rather than feeling the
need to dominate discussions. She
understands the value of restraint and
believes that speaking only when necessary,
commands greater respect and attention.
In her role in client services, Miranda's
success stems from her proactive approach to
problem-solving. Instead of dismissing
unfamiliar requests, she seeks ways to
accommodate clients' needs, fostering a
culture of innovation and flexibility.
Additionally, Miranda advocates for herself,
her team and her clients, championing
growth, change, and improvement while
nurturing strong relationships.
Miranda's success is attributed to her fearless
embrace of new challenges and her steadfast
refusal to succumb to complacency. She
firmly rejects phrases like "that's not my job"
and "that's the way we've always done it,"
understanding the criticality of growth and
innovation. Her willingness to push
boundaries and explore uncharted territories
has propelled her forward, distinguishing her
as a dynamic and forward-thinking leader.
Miranda thrives on the thrill of tackling new

15. obstacles, viewing them not as
roadblocks but as opportunities for
personal and professional
development.
In Miranda's worldview, complacency
is the enemy of progress. She
champions a culture of continuous
improvement, constantly seeking out
fresh perspectives and innovative
solutions. By embracing change and
challenging the status quo, Miranda
has cultivated a legacy of success that
inspires those around her to strive for
greatness.
Transitioning to her values, Miranda
prioritizes honesty and transparent
communication, preferring to be
informed early rather than being
caught off guard. She values hard work
and commitment to shared group
values, fostering a culture of
accountability and collaboration.
Miranda also treasures fresh
perspectives and diverse voices,
understanding that innovation thrives
in environments where ideas are
challenged and different viewpoints are
embraced.
Role as Chief Client Officer
As Chief Client Officer at Gateway
Health Partners, Miranda's oversees the
account management and clinical
services team to ensure clients receive
optimal outcomes. Gateway Health
Partners is the largest rebate and
formulary management services
provider in the United States. Miranda
and her team support the company's
end-to-end approach to pharmacy
management tailoring client services
and emphasizing the importance of
trust, predictability and transparency in
building and maintaining strong client
relationships.
Miranda works closely with clients to
understand their objectives and
collaborates on strategies to meet their
needs effectively. She finds joy in
problem-solving, whether it's
addressing organizational challenges or
devising innovative solutions for
clients. Miranda's goal is to ensure that
every party involved feels like a
winner by creating unique resolutions
to emerging opportunities.
Promoting Proactive Problem-
Solving
Miranda holds a strong stance against
organizational cultures that glorify
individual heroics. She believes that
relying on heroes to swoop in and save
the day at the last minute indicates
deeper systemic issues within the
company. Instead, she advocates for a
culture that values proactive problem-
solving and early identification of
issues.
At Gateway, Miranda appreciates a
culture that rewards individuals for
identifying and addressing problems
before they escalate into crises. She
believes in fostering an environment
where employees feel comfortable
speaking up about issues and mistakes,
promoting forward-thinking and
collaboration.
For Miranda, a successful organization
is one where everyone understands
their roles and responsibilities and
works together to address challenges
proactively. By encouraging open
communication and a shared sense of
accountability, Gateway aims to
prevent the need for heroic
interventions and instead focuses on
collective problem-solving and
continuous improvement.
Prioritizing Soft Skills
Miranda firmly believes in hiring for
soft skills and training for hard skills.
When she joined Gateway, she lacked
specific knowledge about formulary
and rebate management, the company's
primary focus. However, her strong
client management and team leadership
abilities allowed her to excel in her
role. Therefore, when recruiting new
team members, Miranda prioritizes soft
skills such as communication and
flexibility over technical expertise.
It's crucial for potential hires to align
with Gateway's culture of mutual
respect, trust, and collaboration.
Miranda emphasizes the importance of
finding individuals who prioritize
teamwork and are dedicated to driving
the company's overall goals forward.
Egos have no place at Gateway, as the
company values humility and a focus
on collective success.
During interviews, Miranda assesses
candidates' problem-solving
approaches, seeking individuals who
are proactive in seeking solutions and
comfortable reaching out for assistance
when needed. She distinguishes
between candidates who merely relay
information and those who actively

17. work towards resolving issues.
Additionally, Miranda delves into
candidates' motivations and sources of
accomplishment, preferring those who
derive pride from team achievements
rather than individual
accomplishments.
Miranda seeks team members who
embody Gateway's collaborative spirit,
possess strong soft skills, and are
committed to contributing to the
company's success in a supportive and
team-oriented manner.
Taking Risks and Finding
Fulfillment
The greatest risk Miranda ever took
was leaving a job without another lined
up and taking nearly a year off to
reevaluate her career priorities.
Working for a company whose values
didn't align with her own left her
feeling drained and disheartened.
However, despite the uncertainty,
Miranda found the opportunity to reset
her career to be revitalizing and
enlightening.
During her year off, Miranda explored
various aspects of potential careers and
rediscovered the importance of
personal connections and community
service, which had taken a back seat
during her career-focused period. This
break also allowed her to realign her
professional priorities and seek out a
workplace that valued a customer-first
approach across all departments.
Joining Gateway provided Miranda
with the perfect balance she was
seeking. She found fulfillment in
working with colleagues who
prioritized client satisfaction while also
allowing her to maintain a healthy
work-life balance. Looking ahead,
Miranda hopes to continue making a
positive impact on Gateway's clients
and nurturing the skills of her team
members. Additionally, she aims to
expand her involvement in community
service, particularly in mentoring
young professionals and supporting
underserved populations.
Diversity in Leadership
Miranda learned early in her career that
some leaders expect their team
members to replicate their own
methods and behaviors in their roles.
However, she found this approach to
be frustrating for both the leader and
the team members. Instead, Miranda
believes in recognizing and respecting
individual differences and approaches
to the job.
As a leader, Miranda understands that
diversity in approaches doesn't
necessarily equate to being wrong; it
simply means being different. She
emphasizes the importance of
appreciating and embracing these
differences rather than imposing a one-
size-fits-all approach. Forcing team
members to conform to a specific way
of doing things can lead to
dissatisfaction and hinder productivity.
Miranda advocates for providing
guidance and support to team members
while allowing them the autonomy to
find their own approach to their roles.
By fostering an environment that
values individuality and creativity,
leaders can empower their team
members to thrive and contribute
effectively to the organization.
Leadership Philosophy
Miranda emphasizes that one's title
doesn't define them entirely; they
remain employees and team members
first and foremost. As a leader, it's
crucial to ensure the success and
growth of every team member. While
individual contributors focus solely on
their own achievements, leaders must
prioritize the success of their team.
Acknowledging and giving credit
where it's due is paramount for
effective leadership. Taking credit for
others' work undermines their
contributions and diminishes their
sense of accomplishment. Miranda
believes in removing obstacles for her
team so they can thrive and experience
the satisfaction of a job well done.
Gateway Health Partners understands
that its people are its most important
resources. For example, leaders at
Gateway leverage all resources
including their team of experts and
industry-wide relationships, to develop
solutions that work for its clients.
According to Miranda, understanding
and embodying the culture and values
of the company is essential for new
leaders.
Finding a supportive network, or
"tribe," is invaluable for leadership
development. Miranda values her
trusted mentor and other women in
leadership roles, drawing inspiration
from their successes and incorporating
relevant leadership styles into her own
approach.
Miranda also underscores the
importance of continuous learning and
growth, both for oneself and for others.
Leadership isn't the end of the journey;
it's a continuous process of learning,
listening, and supporting others to
succeed.

29. Providing High-Quality Urgent Care
Services Globally
Dr. Dhaliwal worked in Pediatric ER
for 4 years and as a Pediatric
hospitalist and managed acute urgent
and emergent cases. In the ER, she
noticed the need for urgent care that
patients trusted and could manage
slightly higher acuity than other urgent
cares at that time. She shares, “At
Night Watch, we don't turn away
patients that need IVFs or sutures,
something that most urgent cares were
not performing, at least at that time.”
In the United States, the company sees
a growing need for acute mental health
care services, as well as slightly higher
acuity urgent care options. In other
countries, there is a basic need for
urgent care services that we hope to
fulfill. Through its expansion efforts,
the Night Watch's team aims to provide
accessible, reliable, and effective
healthcare services to individuals and
communities around the world. Dr.
Dhaliwal has a strong vision for
growth, as she recognizes the pressing
need for patient education and high-
quality medical care. The team at Night
Watch Urgent Care is planning to
expand globally, with a focus on
establishing acute care centers in
countries where these services are in
high demand. The goal is not only to
increase the quantity of urgent care
facilities, but also to enhance the
quality of care provided.
Growing and Developing as a
Female Leader
Despite the increasing number of
female leaders, there is still a
significant gap in gender representation
in leadership positions. Dr. Dhaliwal
emphasizes that the foundation of
becoming a female leader starts at a
younger age, where women are
encouraged and given equal
opportunities as children within their
homes. This early support system
builds a strong foundation for future
leadership roles.
As a female leader, Dr. Dhaliwal
highlights that having a clear vision of
one's goals is important for progress.
For her, as a doctor and urgent care
owner, understanding how her services
improve the lives of others is critical.
Sharing these dreams and visions with
family members and finding a support
system of friends and family also play
important roles in achieving success as
a female leader.
Dr. Dhaliwal also stresses that
delegating and prioritizing tasks are
crucial for avoiding burnout and
focusing on creative goals. These
leadership qualities are not unique to
female leaders, but they are essential
for anyone who wants to be a
successful leader.
Dr. Dhaliwal identifies a few qualities
that she thinks are lacking among
today's emerging leaders. One key trait
is empathy. She believes that leaders
need to understand and connect with
the people they lead, especially in
times of crisis. Leaders who lack
empathy risk creating a disconnected
team that may not be able to work
effectively towards a common goal.
Another quality that is missing is the
ability to adapt to change. In today's
fast-paced and rapidly evolving world,
leaders need to be agile and able to
pivot quickly. Those who resist change
or cannot keep up with the pace risk
being left behind.
Changes that the Society Needs
Dr. Dhaliwal observed that patient
interaction time has significantly
reduced in recent years due to
healthcare changes, especially in the
United States. To counter this,
technology has been leveraged to
connect with patients through portals,
secure messaging, and educational
content. The clinic offers a feature
where patients can book appointments
from home and receive text messages
about their updated wait times, which
enhances efficiency and convenience.
Dr. Dhaliwal has identified three things
that she would like to improve in
society, healthcare, and people's lives.
Firstly, she would like to improve
health education for the community.
Dr. Dhaliwal believes that patients
should have a better understanding of
their health and treatment plans, which
will allow them to make informed
decisions and take better care of
themselves.
Secondly, she would like to improve
access to convenient care that is
available at odd hours. Dr. Dhaliwal
recognizes that people have busy
schedules and may not always be able
to see a doctor during traditional
business hours. By making care more
accessible, patients can receive the
treatment they need without disrupting
their daily lives.
Lastly, Dr. Dhaliwal would like to
promote the practice of evidence-based
medicine. She believes that medical
decisions should be made based on the
best available evidence, rather than
relying on tradition or personal beliefs.
This approach can lead to better
outcomes for patients and improve the
quality of healthcare overall.
In addition to these three areas of
focus, Dr. Dhaliwal also believes that
the doctor-patient relationship should
not have many layers in between. She
believes that patients should have
direct access to their doctors and that
this can lead to better communication
and improved healthcare outcomes.

38. Visionary leaders are responsible for
creating a captivating and compelling
vision to galvanize the hearts and
minds of the staff and managers of
organizations. Not only is the
President responsible for creating the
vision, but also assumes the role of
ensuring the staff has the necessary
resources to execute and assure the
achievement of such audacious goals
to transform the vision into a tangible
reality. This support is imperative to
help staff members align with a
company that has a big, bold vision to
give back. When staff members have a
vested interest in the company's vision
and feel connected, they are naturally
inspired to accomplish their best work.
Jean Drummond, President and CEO
of HealthCare Dynamics International
(HCDI), ensures every team member
feels empowered to strive toward
HCDI's vision: improving the quality
of health for all, especially vulnerable
populations.
Journey to Destination
Lending a helping hand and connecting
with others through empathy always
came naturally to Jean Drummond. Her
passion for health and the greater good
for all was fundamental in the pursuit
of her career in healthcare and public
health. Beginning her studies in
respiratory therapy, she continued to
become a dedicated Physician's
Assistant, delivering quality primary
health care to those most vulnerable in
her community. Serving for over 15
years in low-income areas that
experienced health professional
shortages, she experienced the
devastating impact of health disparities
on disadvantaged communities and
sought drastic, systems-wide change to
the health care system in the United
States.
As a result, Drummond studied public
administration and health care
management at Bowie State
University, graduating with a master's
degree. Drummond's unique
educational background and
professional experience enable her to
view the challenges across the health
care continuum. She knew one thing
for certain: those most vulnerable were
often left out of economically driven
decisions.
From a Dream to Reality: Founding
HCDI
Two fundamental beliefs have shaped
Drummond's relationship with the
world and her sense of purpose. As a
global citizen, Drummond embraces
our common humanity while
celebrating the unique and different
cultures, backgrounds, and traditions
we share. This understanding guides
her vision for the future of health care
and an unwavering belief in destiny
compels her to believe the best is yet to
come.
Beyond her beliefs, both Drummond's
mother and grandmother served as role
models who cultivated her
entrepreneurial spirit. Jean considers
herself blessed to come from a family
with two strong women who
demonstrated what it means to run
successful businesses. Her
grandmother ran a general merchandise
store in her community and her mother
had a business as a seamstress.
Nonetheless, Drummond watched them
build a life doing things for others and
committed to doing the same. Later,
her mother invested in Drummond's
dream by providing $400.00 to start
HCDI. As her company grows, Jean
cherishes the support she received
from her mother during its inception.
The convergence of Jean's experiences,
unwavering faith, and persistent family
support launched the foundation of
HCDI as an award-winning business.
The HCDI Difference
The policy-to-practice strategy
specialized by HCDI assists health
systems and health plans to raise the
standard of care provided at lower
costs. Emphasizing both the social
determinants of health and using data
as the foundation for impactful
interventions, HCDI understands the
context needed to reach underserved
populations improving access to
necessary health services and
education. The team of more than 200
staff members has in-depth knowledge,
which benefits the communities they
serve.
The power of pivoting is evident
throughout Jean's business. She
understands a business must
continually innovate if it wants to have
a significant impact on public health.
Drummond understands a public health
consultancy must be responsive to the
moment. She acknowledges the
differences in every unique population
and never forgets the people behind the
statistics. This philosophy drives the
community-based, on-the-ground
interventions offered by HCDI. This
multifaceted and targeted approach is
what makes HCDI's strategy so
impactful within communities.

39. Faith in Every Moment
Jean Drummond's faith is her ultimate
guide in life. A good life is measured
by positive impact and asks herself and
her staff to consider how everyday
action will manifest in abundant,
lasting change in the world.
Drummond strives every day to leave
behind a meaningful legacy benefiting
her family, community, and the world.
To accomplish this, she endeavors to
make the most of every moment in life
- every minute of every day.
Drummond does not take any
opportunity, relationship, or moment
for granted. She knows time is a finite
gift.
To be a true change-maker, one must
take courageous action. While faith
keeps her grounded, Drummond
recognizes that making the most of her
life requires both grit and flexibility.
This is the blueprint for courageous
action. Drummond's receptive mindset
unlocks her mind to course-changing
life lessons that lead to a greater, more
equitable future for all.
“You grow when you're
uncomfortable,” Drummond insists.
“Living life courageously means using
change to inspire and motivate!”
“Teamwork Makes the Dream
Work”
Jean proclaims, “Having strong
communication between departments,
staff members, and the executive team
is an important element of the
'teamwork makes the dream work'
mentality.”
Part of building a good team is
developing a system that can be
replicated. Establishing replicable
systems empower staff members to
actively address problems. Instead of a
segregated, lonely environment,
fostering an integrated, collaborative
atmosphere is essential.
Nothing demonstrated the significance
of a cross-collaborative team more
than the COVID-19 pandemic.
Alongside health partners, HCDI staff
found themselves administering
COVID-19 tests, conducting contact
tracing interviews, and providing
COVID-19 information and
immunizations to both educate and
vaccinate the population during this
unprecedented crisis. HCDI had to
respond without delay! Given the dire

Jean's Leadership Advice
According to Jean, a leader should
always consider two crucial points:
learning never stops and a true leader
never moves the world alone. By
leading with humility, a good leader
remains open to learning, adapting, and
growing. In fact, Drummond believes
everyone grows when they remain
humble, open, and curious.

49. Healthcare is a vibrant business with
enormous opportunities, but it can also
be unsettling due to cost worries,
unpredictability, and complexity. There
is significant potential for players who
can produce value-creating solutions
and prosper in the face of
unpredictability.
Given population aging, the rising
prevalence of chronic disease, and the
desire for a greater quality of life, the
intrinsic demand for healthcare
services in the United States continues
to rise. Aside from rising demand,
three additional main aspects
contribute to healthcare being a
dynamic business with tremendous
opportunity:
Consumers, companies, and the
government continue to see the
financial burden of healthcare rise
faster than their earnings or revenues, a
long-standing disparity that is unlikely
to be closed anytime soon.
Furthermore, new issues develop, such
as the continuing opioid crisis. As a
result, there has been and will continue
to be a constant quest for new ideas
and changes, keeping the business in
flux.
Not only are regulations changing, but
so are three other areas: technology
(both medical science and technology,
as well as the onward march of big
data, advanced analytics, machine
learning, and digital), industry
orientation (the shift toward B2C and
rapidly rising consumer expectations),
and risk reallocation across the value
chain.
These pressures are profoundly
changing the industry's structure and
the basis of competitiveness.
The considerable headroom for
improvement in healthcare (about $500
billion within the $3 trillion US
healthcare system, according to most
estimates) presents enormous
opportunities for value creation.
Healthcare is an attractive business
because of its rapid development,
significant changes, and high wealth
generating potential. At the same time,
it is unsettling due to cost worries,
unpredictability, and complexity. There
is significant potential for players who
can produce value-creating solutions
and prosper in the face of
unpredictability.
The assumption that such a corporation
may effectively disrupt the
pharmaceutical value chain is based on
a number of fundamental
considerations. First, the market's size
and attractiveness ($500 billion in
sales) may support significant
investment. Indeed, pharmacy is the
second-largest retail sector in the US
and the only big area where Amazon
does not yet have a significant
presence. Second, the economic
dispersion throughout the value chain
is wide and may be vulnerable to
upheaval. Across the pharmaceutical
value chain, middlemen keep about
$100 billion in profit margins. Finally,
there is indication that customer desire
for direct internet medicine purchases
may be increasing. Although
development in mail-order pharmacy
penetration has slowed in recent years,
first initiatives to offer prescription
pharmaceuticals online (e.g., through
start-ups like Pill Pack and Lemonaid
Health) have begun to gain traction.
The hurdles that a hypothetical
technological entry to the
pharmaceutical value chain would face
are significant. An internet retailer
would have to overcome operational
and regulatory obstacles. It would also
need to locate and cooperate with
interested players in other sections of
the healthcare business, such as payers
and pharmaceutical firms. However, if
an online vendor can overcome these
obstacles and achieve a presence in the
pharmacy business, the potential
disruption to the pharmaceutical value
chain and industry profit pools might
be enormous.

52. People prioritise their health
above anything else in their life.
When someone becomes ill or
injured, their usual way of life is
disturbed, and physicians have
the great potential to restore these
people's lives to normal. As a
result, becoming a doctor is
immensely satisfying.
Dr. Katie Lau is an aesthetic
doctor with over ten years of
expertise treating patients in the
field of aesthetic medicine. In
2017, Katie founded Dr. Katie
Clinic in the field of cosmetic
medicine as her own private
enterprise. Katie earned her
bachelor's degree from the
University of Hong Kong in
2006. She began working in
aesthetics in 2011 after
completing her surgical training
at Queen Mary Hospital. During
this time, she worked for a variety
of firms, honing her abilities and
gaining expertise.
The Motivation behind Starting
Entrepreneurial Journey -

aesthetic medicine
Katie had no intention of starting
her own business when she began
her sympathetic character. Katie
reflected on the period when she
was insistent about choosing
aesthetic treatment as her last
choice, admitting it was the finest
decision she had ever made. She
sought to use her talents to help
others, which gave her a feeling
of fulfilment and comfort. Her
goal was never merely to give
people medicine, but to make
them happy by treating their
psychological structures as well.
Katie learned after years of
working in this field that many of
the 'imperfections' identified by
her patients were the result of a
variety of social or other external
influences. The most prevalent
reason for people knocking on the
doors of aesthetics physicians was
peer pressure. She is a firm
believer in focusing on visible
qualities while also addressing
interior difficulties in order to
create one's identity. She quietly
counsels her patients with some
insightful chats and specific
programmes to enhance their
highs and reduce their lows, all
with this great purpose in mind.
Furthermore, Katie identified
certain pain problems while
aggressively working at private
institutions to acquire expertise,
where many actors were highly
focused on promoting
technological advancements
rather than providing appropriate
answers to patients.

was to assist those who were in

basic surgical training at Queen

possibilities led her into private

career as a general practitioner
and an aesthetic physician. After a
few years, she chose to devote
herself entirely too aesthetic
medicine because it entails more
operations and allows for healing
with the hands, as opposed to
surgery.
Throughout her journey, Katie
acquired a strong foundation and
tactful approach to dealing with
people from various backgrounds,
while developing and shaping her
missionary principles and
direction over time, thanks to a
variety of experiences—including
technical and personal aspects
gained from working for several
centres. Furthermore, the
sportsmanship she developed as a
competitive swimmer throughout
her adolescent years helped to
shape her strong character, which
