Group 1-5 were instructed to take pictures of patterns around the school, choose one for inspiration, and each draw a bridge design. They then voted and built the winning design out of lolly sticks, considering design, stability, and function as it would be tested with ballast. Group 6-10 split in half, with each half using LEGO to build a bridge, then went to the computer room to draw their bridges isometrically using Geogebra software.
