5 principles of
being beautiful
1. You can’t buy genuine beauty.
2. being beautiful takes work...
don’t worry. its not about
being consistent, its about
adapting to how you feel
each day.
3. take moments to ground
yourself.
4. indulge in something...
be naughty...
do something you’re not
supposed to...
because beauty is bad ass.
5. if you want people to take
you seriously...
you must take you seriously.

primer how-to
why do we choose to prime?
Because...
• If worn properly, it allows your makeup stay on all day!
• It helps fill in spots your foundation/powder can’t
• It adds an extra layer of protection from environmental skin-hazards
priming the face... (Optional)
For now, prime one
of your hands.

HOW do I put on foundation?
Apply evenly all over your face:
1. with your washed hands
2. with a stipple brush
3. with a foundation brush
1
Why use foundation?
Because...
• It evens out our skin-tone
• Unless you have a great natural complexion, without foundation, other
makeup can look dir ty and be distracting rather than pretty
priming the face... (Optional)
Put foundation on
both of your hands.

Because...
• It sets it in-place so it doesn’t rub off during the day
• It adds an extra light-layer of shine control

• It makes your face have depth, foundation CAN’T do that
• It enhances your natural bone structure
• It draws peoples’ eyes to the par ts of your face that matter, your eyes
and your lips
• It makes you look fresh, even if you haven’t slept
• It’s a great “I’m going to be lazy today” backup for not wearing makeup

• It prevents color streaking
• It ENHANCES any color you place on top of it, and it looks smooth
Use primer when...
• You wear eye shadow
• You wear eye liner that might melt
• When you’re at an occassion where they’ll be taking pictures

• It polishes your eyes, makes them crisp
• Makes it easier for men notice your eyes, gives it POP!
Not everyone needs eye liner though...
• Some people have naturally thick lash lines
• Some people’s eyes are so huge they don’t want to
emphasize them. No worries, doing it right will prevent this!
