The Evolution From Management From Leadership to CreativeshipMonster
We’ve evolved from Management to Leadership, and now need to evolve to Creativeship, defined as the necessity to create an organizational culture that can compete and thrive in this new era.
The combination of technological advances (including social media), globalization, shifting economic drivers, government intervention, vastly different motivational drivers within different generations, and the emergence of social responsibility is leading to a pronounced shift in the definition of leadership.
Over the past 25 years, we have seen the shift from managing things, data, process (management) to leading people (leadership).
Going forward, leaders will now need to focus on Creativeship – defined as creating sustainable cultures.
This presentation will push you to think differently on how best to flourish in this era of speed, technological advances, and innovation.
Key take-a-way points include:
* Why you need to link your employment brand to your product or service brand
* Importance of thinking global
* Why and how to leverage social media
* Best practices to boost innovation, speed, technology, engagement, purpose, inclusion, collaboration, and engagement
By 2020, Millennials will be approximately 50 percent of the U.S. workforce. So, within the next five years, Millennials will have increasing influence over organizations’ decisions, move in to leadership roles, and basically take over the workforce. Not only will this have an effect within businesses, it will have a profound impact on who the organizations want to do business with.
The millennial generation, also known as generation Y, can broadly be classified as people born between 1980 and 2000. This generation is commonly described as the techno generation, digital natives, and most educated generation. Compared to the previous generations (Generation X and Baby Boomers) Millennials have specific habits and behaviors that have changed the way we need to think about marketing and business as a whole.
The traditional outbound marketing model, also known as push marketing, has been disrupted by the advent of social and digital technologies. Because of this, Millennials consume, engage, and share differently. This is forcing businesses to rethink how they incorporate the millennial audience into their marketing activities.
In this presentation, these questions will be discussed: why is it important to target Millennials, what are their behaviors and what are the implications, and what are examples of companies successfully engaging with Millennials.

SharePoint can do a lot of things. As an out-of-the-box (OOTB) product there are a lot of solutions that can be developed. But, there is an entire partner ecosystem that has grown up around and with SharePoint. These partners can make your SharePoint deployments more efficient, easier to use and often times more cost effective.
This session will highlight a few real-world deployments and will talk about some of the challenges related to OOTB functionality and how partners have filled gaps to add extended capabilities for things like scanning paper documents, adding workflow processes, declaring records and storing content for long term archiving. Customers in every market segment often end up needing one or more of these to provide a complete solution.
This is a business oriented session and will not dive into the details of how to configure SharePoint or how to integrate partner solutions. Attendees are encouraged to bring their ideas and business challenges. With time permitting we will talk about possibilities for building out your own Real-World SharePoint deployment.
