Workers have rights like the right to know about workplace hazards, the right to speak up if unsure about safety procedures, and the right to refuse unsafe tasks. However, workers also have responsibilities like following safety procedures, wearing proper attire, and thinking about workplace safety. Both rights and responsibilities are important to consider for protecting safety in the workplace.

When in a work place it is important to
consider your rights, but its also important to
consider your responsibilities.

4. Right to Know
Employers have the responsibility to make
sure you're aware of the different hazards you
might encounter at a work place. They need to
show you all of the safety procedures.

5. Right to Speak Up
We have the right to Speak Up, if were are
unaware about something, or are unsure of a
safety procedure. Safety is first in a work
place, and it is important to speak up if
something isn’t clear regarding safety

6. Right to Refuse
If you don’t feel safe doing a certain task, or
you feel as though you haven’t been given the
proper training needed to complete the task,
it is within your rights to refuse the job at
hand

7. Responsibilities
As important as it is to understand what rights
we have in a work place, its also very
important to consider the responsibilities we
have. We need to bring proper work attire,
recognize when certain safety procedures are
going on/about to occur, and we need to
think.
