Jessica Skender kept a work log documenting her activities developing and teaching a lesson plan for a class over several months. She began by meeting with her project facilitator to discuss the project and observe classroom activities. Later meetings included developing a calendar time lesson plan, observing the regular teacher's lessons, and teaching her own lesson which went well. Communication with the facilitator was mostly over email which required planning activities in advance due to their different schedules. Overall the project provided a positive learning experience for Jessica that reinforced her interest in teaching.
