The district is engaging the community to find out what residents value in public education. This process will help district leaders allocate dollars for the 2012-13 school year.
IELTS Speaking Tip by High Profile SGC experts:
Question: Should education be free for all?
Comments: This is an opinion question
Sample answer: Not for all, I would say.The reason is that government will have to collect more taxes from the taxpayers to allocate funds for free education. Besides, many people can afford the cost of education. Having said that, for the economically weaker section of the society, education can be made free or subsidized.

This short presentation showcases the first year in the life of a community website, based in the North London N21 postcode. In only nine months there are nearly 600 organisations with profiles on n21online.com; which aims to make it easy for people to find and support local businesses, social, environmental and community groups. The big surprise is just how much is going on in this little corner of North London. A busy year?
Network rail public meeting in grange park 1.12.11helen0
A second public meeting with Network Rail was convened, so that local residents in Grange Park could tell Network Rail that they are deeply unhappy with the replanting of the site at the heart of our local community
This session will explore the scope for transforming collaboration and knowledge-sharing between public sector workers in different organizations. It will take as its starting point the lesson's learnt from the UK's local government community of practice platform, currently the world's largest network for public sector professionals. Moving on to describe the Knowledge Hub, the "next generation" Enterprise Social Software platform, providing many new features, and enabling far better permeability between government communities and external (Web 2.0) social networks and web services. Delegates will gain insights into the contribution that online communities can make in the public sector, and will discuss the barriers to effective collaboration and the best ways to overcome them
