This document provides information and training for supervisors on drug and alcohol testing regulations and substance abuse awareness. It covers the different types of DOT drug testing, effects of alcohol at various blood alcohol levels, signs of impairment from various illegal drugs like marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, and PCP. It also discusses substance abuse and addiction, specimen tampering methods and devices, and the responsibilities of trained supervisors in reasonable suspicion testing situations according to DOT and company policy. Supervisors are given access to an online library of documents to help them identify and handle potential substance abuse issues.
