Our second assignment was that we had to think back to our high school days. We were
told to think about any high school cliques that may have been present during our time in high
school. We were sent into our same groups as last time to discuss which 5 high school cliques
were most common among each of our high schools. This was considerably more difficult for
me as I went to a private school where dress codes made clique identification considerably more
difficult. From what I remembered from high school, almost everyone in my class of about 30
went to school with each other for quite a long time, so the most noticeable clique I noticed was
that of childhood friends. Others in my group, as well as the other groups, had the more
recognizable cliques. The most commonly named cliques were, from what I remember, as
follows: the jocks; the red necks; the preps; the skaters; and the nerds.
