I was responsible for the supervision of an eight person warehouse team shipping well known hair care products to six
states as well as four local company stores. It was part of my duties to manage weekly cycle counts at the warehouse
and the stores to maintain inventory accuracies. I negotiated with freight companies to minimize outbound freight cost
and improve transit times. I updated the warehouse layout to improve product flow and increase order fulfillment. This
resulted in a large decrease in overtime cost and a large increase in daily order processing. It was also my
responsibility to purchase all warehouse supplies as needed. I also was responsible for auditing and approving all
freight billings and expenses for the warehouse department. I worked with the company owner and other managers in
setting company policies and goals. I was a working manager and performed all duties along with my team. I received
shipments, restocked inventory locations, pulled and shipped customer and company store orders, processed RMA’s
and any other daily warehouse tasks as needed.

I was hired to work in the warehouse at VideoTeknix and was soon promoted to Warehouse Manager. One year
later I was asked to also take on the responsibility of managing and purchasing for the service department. I was
responsible for entering all the purchase orders, sales orders, and inventory into the computer system. I was
responsible for tracking all material and labor cost for the industrial video systems that we sold and installed. I did
all the invoicing to the end users after the installation of the system were completed. I supervised six team
members in the service department as well as two warehouse employees Participated in quarterly inventories and
helped reconciled any discrepancies.

Inventory counts. My team was responsible for invoicing Nextel for the cost of outbound shipments and the cost of
programing phones.

I was hired as a temporary warehouse worker to help install a pick and pack warehouse. This company had only done
drop shipments prior to this. I helped the owner select the type of warehouse racking they would need based on the
product they were going to be shipping. Two weeks after I started helping they asked me to become a full time
employee as Warehouse Lead. I selected the company for outbound shipments and the shipping system. As the
company grew the size of the building we were in and the amount of inbound shipments forced us to open and run a
second warehouse off site. I was responsible for the management of both of these warehouse locations. I negotiated
with and then selected the freight companies to handle both inbound and outbound shipments for both locations. We
did warehouse inventory counts every six months. I assisted the purchasing manager to reconcile any discrepancies.
