earth® products, i.e. from cradle to gate.

22. Colour Range
All oxides and colourants used in B-earth products are
FREE of lead and heavy metals, are also UV stabile and
colourfast. More than 24 000 colours are available and
specific needs are addressed and developed. An
important factor is that colours will not fade, yellow,
blanch or whiten; due to stability of the product. The
“Zero VOC” component is one factor that creates this
characteristic. Oxides are mostly used because of their
colourfastness but carousel / tinted colours are also

23. Textures and Finishes
Various textures and finishes are available in all the
products. Our philosophy of using the best
available, sustainable products with the lowest carbon
footprint is again adhered to. Mica, volcanic
deposits, recycled rubber and silica are mostly used
because of their stability and the encapsulating effect of
our co-polymers ensures that it become part of the
membrane and will not be “released” in time. Finishes
from flat to high sheen are available. In the B-earth
tradition all paints must be able to withstand public area
criteria; it will confirm to standards set out in the list of
test conducted above. Here the same principals will apply
that if we do not have it and the need warrants, we will

24. Technical Data
All claims made by B-earth are substantiated with an
internationally acclaimed laboratory test and certificate.
Every product owns a MSDS, Material Safety Data
Sheet, and a product data sheet. Application procedures
and systems for every surface have been tested and do
accompany the product. We also supply inspection / quality
control sheets to ensure the client can monitor the
application procedure. Every product leaving one of our
factories are carefully crafted, the quality tested in every
step and our 5 point quality control system ensures that a
wet sample, brush out, double entry, responsible party and
date is documented and kept for the duration of the
guarantee. In our 8 years existence this culture of ethical
values and quality proved us in all markets penetrated.

25. Ecological and Social Responsibility
B-earth is a 100% BEE compliant corporation. Our
responsibility to the social and ecological environment
and our carbon footprint created the awareness to
establish a nursery. Portulacaria afra is propagated by
local disadvantaged people. All factories keep these
plants to absorb local carbons and are supplied to
clients at cost.

The history of B-earth is complex, simple and organic.
With the birth of the formulation little was known
about the impacts of what paint related toxins will have
on the environment and its inhabitants. The perception
that coatings had little to do with chronic illness was not
perceived. Are children having more ailments as
generations evolved although “civilisation” and medical
technologies progress? Global warming theories. We
believe in these products. It has been tested over and

Vision:
To design a facility that will serve an environmental - sustainable
coating market. Thereafter providing opportunities for a local
community to enhance their lives economically, socially and
aesthetically.

Worldwide specialised co-ops will embrace the project.
The skills development and added living comfort of this modular
construction method shall add a continuous benefit to the
surrounding community. B-earth developed a sealing system to
protect these structures from moisture and movement factors.
The supply of modular formwork and the training of local
unskilled workers will benefit the area in which these hubs are
created.
These methods shall create and renew remembrance of history.

The specialized construction crew will use local skilled and un-
skilled workers to construct the hub.
While construction is in progress development and enhancing of
living conditions, creating and refining of economic systems and
empowering of man must take place.
Construction of “clean water” systems is essential to the
progress.
Education and identification of potential leaders will be the
driving force in this process.

34. Maintenance Procedures:
All constructions are only as sustainable as the method, the
materials and maintenance.
Therefore establishing maintenance organisms will empower
people to maintain there own surroundings.
To maintain surroundings we have to ensure that ourselves and
the environment is clean.

air, food source for man and its livestock and as global trading

In modern society our creative problem solving skills seem to
diminish.
We can solve a space travelling ship; create new bones but not a
