Who wants to distribute my film
Who’s available?


There are a number of distributors available for our film including:
-




   Independent
-




   Low budget
Independent film companies can combine with bigger companies to make their
   budget bigger and this therefore makes the marketing process easier as the
   film will be able to reach a wider audience
Lucid pictures


Our distribution company is called Lucid Pictures. As our film is aimed at a
audience of 16-24, I imagine that the our production company will be more
towards low budget companies in the UK.
Also the age range between 16 and 24 means that our company and reach a mass
audience with a variety of film content so it does not exact have to able to one
particular age. This then means the films produced can have mass profit.
Marketing


As we are aimed more to a low budget short of audience, I would say that we
would use posters and advert in newspapers to attract audiences. In terms of
television adverts and trailers, we would do the occasional Television Ad as they
are not exactly as easily affordable. However if we were to combine with a larger
distribution company like Warner Bros for example then we would have more
money to spend on distribution.
Another form of marketing could be radio and social networking through the use
of web 2.0. Using social networks such as Twitter, Facebook and Youtube means
that we can directly interact with our target audience and give them sneak peaks
such as interviews before wit release the official trailer
Also cross media can be used to turn the success of the film into a game.
