3. • Who would ever think in our society today that
communication technology many years ago was
not advanced at all compared to what we have
and know today. In our society today we have
advanced communication technology that allows
us to connect and share with others faster from
around the world.

4. Uses and Gratifications Theory- People use media for their
needs and gratification.
• Finding out relevant events going on in our society
• finding models in behavior
• connecting with family and friends
• escaping problems and relaxation

5. • Video Gaming- Involves human interaction with a user interface
to generate visual feedback on a video device such as a TV screen or a
computer.
• People play video games for entertainment and enjoyment. It’s a time to
escape the world and relax in peace.
• So just like the Xbox kinect imagine video gaming in 2022 A.D where
video games become hands on where you can feel like you’re physically
inside the game.

6. Social Learning and Cognitive Theory- A theory that
focuses on how people learn by modeling others.
• Say a new generation of the IPhone comes out and you see all your friends and famous people
with it but you still have the old one. If you see that the new IPhone has way more cool features
than yours than you tend to want the new IPhone even though it’s the same invention.
• IPhones allow you to do many different things but imagine that you could unlock your front
door, open your garage, unlock your car door with just the sound or push of a button with the new
2025 cellphone.

7. The Theory of the long trail-
* This Theory begins the realization that there are not any huge hit
movies, television shows and album's like there used to be.
* New communication technologies are giving users access to
new and more content.
* our culture and economic is shifting away from the focus on the
old media medium.

8. • You have new inventions such as ITunes, sound cloud and other
music apps that allows you to download and listen to music from the
old school to todays music.
• Netflix, Hulu and other movie sites allow people to watch movies
from many years ago and today.

9. The future of communication technology in 2025 A.D
• In conclusion, there are many communication technologies with different
origins and histories. Some of these communications technologies have
been swept away and replaced with more newer advanced technologies. I
have compared three communication technologies and three theories to
show how technology would be in 2025 A.D.
