Although a resource list culture has been successfully established amongst academic staff and students, such an approach has also resulted in reduced opportunities for collection development outside those resource lists. The Accreditation Challenges in Transnational Educational Ecology: The Ghana...Valdosta State University
The transnational nature of the contemporary educational ecology has placed many national accreditation boards under an enormous pressure in executing their mandate of monitoring, supervising, and granting accreditation to academic institutions and the programs they offer. In recent times, the Ghana National Accreditation Board (NAB from now on) has come under an immense public scrutiny for what the public may have rightly perceived as its failure to perform its gatekeeping role in safeguarding the credibility of educational products sold to the Ghanaian public by some unaccredited educational institutions.
Using a purposive comparative framework, we selected for interrogation cases of institutions and individuals who have come under public scrutiny for awarding and receiving academic qualifications and awards that the public considers questionable. This is to answer three pertinent questions:
I. What is the accreditation status of institutions selected for analysis?
II. Who are the individuals associated with these institutions?
III. What are the motives of these individuals for acquiring these degrees/awards?
The report indicates that some of the institutions in question are in breach of the NAB’s instrument of authority, while others have acquired NAB’s accreditation under questionable arrangements. The report further indicates that two categories of individuals are identifiable in these accreditation controversies. While one group views higher academic qualifications as career tools, the other considers these awards as status symbols for self-actualization and a seal for the legitimization of their place of honor in the public’s eye. An uncritical-propaganda-dogged media coupled with an unquestioning public continues to fuel the practice.
Sara Ewing Goldsmiths, University of LondonThe speaker hosts workshops that situate Western academic research in historical, political and social conditions that are tied to colonial practices of difference and hierarchy. They are centred on participants’ ideas, assumptions, experiences and values in relation to different themes, in conjunction with short non-traditional texts, to provoke meaningful and unexpected discussions. These workshops align with the Goldsmiths goal to ‘Liberate Our Degree’ by addressing the inequalities embedded in pedagogy and curricula. Current collaborations include library staff working with procurement, reading lists and library practices, lecturers in various departments seeking to diversify their curriculum design, and students invested in decolonizing their own programmes.

Per una corretta adozione della tecnica è però fondamentale mantenere le condizioni agronomiche idonee a favorire una semina omogenea, flessibilità tecnico colturale e introduzione di proposte atte a ridurre il compattamento e il traffico in campo.

Field Notes Interview Instructions
For this assignment, you should interview two individuals who have earned a doctorate degree in the field of education (either a Ph. D or an Ed. D). You should use the Interview Templates document provided in the Assignment Instructions folder to conduct your interview and record the subjects’ responses. The interview can be conducted in person or through videoconferencing (with a tool like Skype). Whichever method you choose to use for the interview, be aware that both interviews must be audio recorded for official transcription. It is important to test the audio equipment prior to conducting the interview because the transcription is a required element for the interview. You will submit both interview transcriptions (as recorded in the Interview Templates document) in Module/Week 7; however you must conduct AT LEAST ONE INTERVIEW by the end of Wednesday of Module/Week 5.
By interviewing individuals who have already completed the dissertation process for the field of education, you will have the opportunity to become acquainted with one data collection method while simultaneously increasing your understanding of the dissertation process. Thus, as you look for candidates to interview, it would be helpful for you to interview individuals with degrees similar to the one you are pursuing.
Below are some helpful details that you will need to know when preparing for and conducting the interviews. You should also review the Interview Templates document and the grading rubric for a more thorough understanding of the assignment.
The following is a list of some typical doctoral degrees for the field of education:
· Curriculum & Instruction
· Reading
· Education Administration
· Teaching & Learning
· Adult Education
· Educational Counseling
· Education Leadership
· Education Psychology

· TESOL
· Special Education
· Science Education
Likewise, the following list gives you some examples of the job positions that your candidates may hold:
· Principal
· Professor
· Guidance counselor
· Superintendent
· Coordinator
· Specialist
· Teacher
Request an interview with your chosen candidates by reading the following information verbatim:
“I am a graduate student and would like the opportunity to ask you some questions about the dissertation process. I would be taping the interview for transcription and submitting these notes to my college professor. Can we set up a time?”

Memorandum Of Association Constitution of Company.pptseri bangash
www.seribangash.com
A Memorandum of Association (MOA) is a legal document that outlines the fundamental principles and objectives upon which a company operates. It serves as the company's charter or constitution and defines the scope of its activities. Here's a detailed note on the MOA:
Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.
https://seribangash.com/article-of-association-is-legal-doc-of-company/
Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.
Objective Clause: This clause delineates the main objectives for which the company is formed. It's important to define these objectives clearly, as the company cannot undertake activities beyond those mentioned in this clause.
www.seribangash.com
Liability Clause: It outlines the extent of liability of the company's members. In the case of companies limited by shares, the liability of members is limited to the amount unpaid on their shares. For companies limited by guarantee, members' liability is limited to the amount they undertake to contribute if the company is wound up.
https://seribangash.com/promotors-is-person-conceived-formation-company/
Capital Clause: This clause specifies the authorized capital of the company, i.e., the maximum amount of share capital the company is authorized to issue. It also mentions the division of this capital into shares and their respective nominal value.
Association Clause: It simply states that the subscribers wish to form a company and agree to become members of it, in accordance with the terms of the MOA.
Importance of Memorandum of Association:
Legal Requirement: The MOA is a legal requirement for the formation of a company. It must be filed with the Registrar of Companies during the incorporation process.
Constitutional Document: It serves as the company's constitutional document, defining its scope, powers, and limitations.
Protection of Members: It protects the interests of the company's members by clearly defining the objectives and limiting their liability.
External Communication: It provides clarity to external parties, such as investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities, regarding the company's objectives and powers.
https://seribangash.com/difference-public-and-private-company-law/
Binding Authority: The company and its members are bound by the provisions of the MOA. Any action taken beyond its scope may be considered ultra vires (beyond the powers) of the company and therefore void.
Amendment of MOA:
While the MOA lays down the company's fundamental principles, it is not entirely immutable. It can be amended, but only under specific circumstances and in compliance with legal procedures. Amendments typically require shareholder

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

This presentation will provide a realistic take on what makes for an academic career in today’s competitive world. I will define the possible academic career pathways a researcher can take. Specifically, I will cover: The national employment picture for researchers using data from the Vitae ‘What Do Researchers Do?’ research How you can better equip yourself to pursue an academic career What factors are recognised and valued in an academic career Strategic academic career planning tips
2505 respondents compared with 2075 (2008) and 6720 (2008 6 months)Highest satisfaction in HE teaching, lowest in HE research and other occupationsConsistency in employment compared to Masters & UG (falls 5%) and enjoy salary premium Portfolio working higher in A&H and SS, 70% by choice, 25% could not find FT work of interestShort term contracts (<12 months) rose from 3% to 5%, even higher in HE research (5% to 11%)
Proportion working in HE research fell from 19% in 2008 to 17% in 2010 graduatesOther common = health professionals, engineering, IT, business/finance professionals
Key clusters for arts and humanities respondents were teaching and lecturing in HE (37%) and other occupations (31%). For biomedical respondents and physical sciences and engineering respondents the largest cluster was other common doctoral occupations, while for biological sciences respondents it was HE research
Doctoral graduates consistently perceive positive impact of their doctoral degree experience on their workplace activities, career progression and to a lesser extent their wider lives. Within the workplace this experience helps them to be more innovative and influence the work of others, as might be expected of those with very high level knowledge. Many also report that it enables them to change organisational culture and working practices, presumably reflecting their high competency levels.
Publications dominate - consistent and developing output – REF cycle influence Funding experience varied from plans/ideas to fellowships. Collaboration with senior colleagues key in STEMM disciplines Interdisciplinarity & collaboration – once in the job Most don’t expect extensive teaching experience & few require formal teaching quals. Candidates who seem collaborative (esp at dept. level) & excellent communicators are sought after Postdocs should be aiming for a lectureship by 5+ years. After 10 it becomes difficult. Career breaks widely seen as challenging for career maintenance – try to keep ‘foot in door’
