User experience (UX) design is the process of creating products that provide meaningful experiences for users. UX designers are responsible for all aspects of product development including design, usability, functionality, and marketing. They conduct research such as user interviews and testing to understand users and identify opportunities. UX designers create wireframes, prototypes, and test products to refine the user experience. Key skills for UX designers include research, collaboration, prototyping, understanding basic code, analyzing usage data, and testing designs. Common tools used by UX designers are Sketch, Invision Studio, Proto.io, Axure, Balsamiq, and Webflow.

Most people think that UI/UX designing comes under same category or both are the same. But actually UI refers to User Interface and UX refers to User Experience which are completely different paths. More briefing about those two will be discussed in this presentation.
The UX Design Process consists of five key phases: Product Definition, Research, Analysis, Design, and Testing.

"Impact of front-end architecture on development cost", Viktor TurskyiFwdays
I have heard many times that architecture is not important for the front-end. Also, many times I have seen how developers implement features on the front-end just following the standard rules for a framework and think that this is enough to successfully launch the project, and then the project fails. How to prevent this and what approach to choose? I have launched dozens of complex projects and during the talk we will analyze which approaches have worked for me and which have not.

GDG Cloud Southlake #33: Boule & Rebala: Effective AppSec in SDLC using Deplo...James Anderson
Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. He is known for his dynamic presentations in CI/CD and application security integrated in software delivery lifecycle.

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

What is user experience(ux) & ux designer
1. What is User Experience(UX) & UX designer?
User Experience(UX):
The process by which design teams create products that give users meaningful and
relevant experiences is known as user experience (UX) design. This includes features
of branding, design, usability, and function, as well as the full process of obtaining and
integrating the product.
What does a UX designer do?
● A UX Designer is responsible for all parts of the product development process,
including design, usability, functionality, branding, and marketing. Their job
encompasses the complete end-to-end journey of a user's contact with a product,
as well as the identification of new product and business prospects.
● Data collection, surveys, user interviews, and focus groups are common methods
used by UX Designers to gain information and insights on target users.
● Another critical stage of the UX design process is the creation of user personas.
UX Designers consolidate and analyse their results at this step to create
representative personas based on trends and commonalities discovered during
their research.
● Wireframes—low-fidelity design sketches that depict different screens or stages
of the product along the user journey—are created by UX Designers. Simple
representations of UI design features are included in wireframes, which serve as
a reference for further development and product design.
● Prototypes are a higher-fidelity design of the product than wireframes, and they
can be used for user testing and showing the product to the development team.
These prototypes are designed to have a look, feel, and set of capabilities that
are very comparable to the final product.
● UX Designers can test their products in a variety of methods. One of the most
prevalent methods is user testing, which is allowing users to interact with a
prototype of the final design in order to assess its accessibility, usability, and
intuitiveness.
2. What are UX Designer skills?
● If you want to be considered seriously as a UX designer, you'll need to improve
your research abilities.
● Collaboration is a key UX designer skill since it allows you to communicate with
clients and stakeholders more effectively, ensuring that the end product fulfils
both business and user expectations.
● Prototyping your app is a terrific approach to understand crucial functionality
before having it produced by developers.
● UI/UX designers do not need to be coding specialists, but they should be able to
make modest website updates and understand basic HTML and CSS.
● As a UI/UX designer, your goal is to constantly analyse data on product usability
and come up with ways to improve existing products while also inferring new
product ideas from the data. You must test your app or website after it is
completed. You can analyse the performance of your design by understanding
figures, percentages, and ratios.
UI/UX Designers' Preferred Programs:
● Sketch
Sketch is a popular digital design toolkit for MacOSX that is largely used for
website and mobile app UI/UX design.
● Invision Studio
Invision Studio is a screen design application that allows designers to create,
prototype, and animate screens for websites and mobile apps, as well as define
the interactions between them.
● Proto.io
Proto.io is a tool for creating high-fidelity prototypes that appear and function
exactly like the app or website being created.
● Axure
Axure is a wireframing and prototype application that assists designers in
creating deliverables that can be handed over to developers for immediate
production.
● Balsamiq
Balsamiq is a low-fidelity wireframing tool for drawing user interfaces for
websites, desktop applications, and mobile apps.
3. ● Webflow
Webflow is a website builder that does not require HTML or CSS skills. Building a
prototype with Webflow provides designers with an actual website and creates
exact HTML and CSS code, saving time.
