SIX is a global network of organizations working in social innovation. It aims to connect diverse sectors and spread great ideas. Over 250 associates from various fields and sectors are part of the flexible network. SIX organizes conferences, workshops and other events to help develop the field and bring social innovators together from around the world. The network includes partners from Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and other regions.

6. International conference in South Korea dedicated to Social Innovation and its impact in the area. (with Hope Foundation, October) Workshop with the European Commission hosted by President Barroso which aims to discuss the importance of Social Innovation in helping to shape the new European Social Agenda. 7. Open Everything is a global conversation about the art, science and spirit of 'open'. It gathers people using openness to create and improve software, education, media, philanthropy, neighbourhoods, workplaces and the society we live in: everything. It's about thinking, doing and being open. There are two kinds of Open Everything conversation planned: five short events in cities around the world and a three day retreat in British Columbia Centre for Social Innovation , Toronto, Canada - June 4, 2008 [ Shuttleworth Foundation , Cape Town, South Africa - August 22, 2008 - half day chat Hollyhock , Cortes Island, BC, Canada - September 3 - 6, 2008 - Lien Centre for Social Innovation , Singapore - September 15, 2008 - Young Foundation , London, England - November 28, 2008 - Eventually, we hope different kinds of Open Everything will happen all over the place. The idea is for people to pick it up and morph it. The events above should be a good start.
