This document outlines Portfolium, a career portfolio platform founded by Adam Markowitz. Portfolium allows students to visually showcase their skills, projects, and experiences to employers. It addresses the problem that less than 19% of college students are actively using career services and over 50% of recent graduates don't land a job in their major. Portfolium has partnered with UC Santa Barbara School of Engineering and provides a supplement to LinkedIn by allowing users to copy and paste their Portfolium URL, which then automatically pulls and embeds their portfolio.
