Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.

- 1. what is a currency board and how does it work? Solution To synchronize monetary policy in an economy, a currency board may be established by the government. A currency board can exist independently of the central bank. In some countries, it works parallel with the central bank. Its key role is to hold the exchange rate constant which helps in effective transmission of monetary policy. Its another function is to issue notes and coins in the economy. It must perform this function while holding constant its exchange rate against a foreign currency. Note that a currency board has to issue domestic currency on demand and at a given exchange rate. The benefits involve predictable nature of the board decisions. For example - Hong Kong has a currency board and the Hong Kong governments cannot set its own interest rates as they're determined largely the Fed as HK currency is pegged against USD.
