Michael Bangura used various online tools and software during the construction of his final media product, a music magazine. He used Blogger to upload research videos and communicate with his teacher for feedback, and to generate feedback from his target audience. He used Adobe Fireworks to create pages for his magazine and edit photos, and Da Font to download and shortlist fonts for his magazine masthead. PicMonkey allowed him to digitally edit photos beyond Fireworks' capabilities. DTP software allowed him to upload photos, edit them, and construct the full magazine on one computer.

2. During the construction of my final media product, I used
blogger which is a blog publishing site that allows users to
upload entries on many different platforms.
During the construction of my music magazine blogger enabled me to:
 Upload videos as research for my target audience for my research and planning for my
final magazine
 Allow me to communicate with my media teacher so that she could give me feedback for
my production and planning
 It also allowed me to generate feedback from my target audience so that I could use the
feedback and use it for my the production of my magazine
 Allowed me to create blog posts as part of my research so that I could go back through
them so that I could make sure that I would be following conventions of music magazines
when I was making my music magazine

3. Adobe fireworks is a bitmap and vector graphics editor. The
tools on the programme have allowed me to create my
magazine and edit the photos I had taken for my magazine.
I used fireworks to create my front cover contents page and double page spread and During the
production of my final magazine, fireworks had enabled me to:
• Use bitmap and vector tools in order to edit and manipulate my photos that I had taken for my
final music magazine.
•Download and use text for my magazine
Because fireworks had allowed me to edit and manipulate my photos, it meant that the process of
making my final magazine was made much quicker and easier. I think this was because I became
more and more familiar with fireworks during the time I was creating my magazine which also
meant the quality of my work became better during my course.
Da font is a website that has a collection of files
to download fonts for free. They are categorized
by topic and can also be sorted by name, date and
popularity.
During the construction of my magazine, Da font has allowed me to download potential fonts for my
magazine, and put them into a shortlist so that my target audience could determine which masthead
was the most favourable amongst the shortlist. Which meant that I could then use the most popular
font in the making of my magazine. I think that Da font has been a key technology as it allowed
quick and easy access downloading fonts for my magazine and it also assisted me in the creation of
my magazine.

4. Is a photo-editing programme that I used
to edit my photos in the creation of my
music magazine
Pic Monkey enabled me to upload the original image of
some of my photos that I had taken during my photo
shoot and digitally edit them using the tools that were
not available on Adobe fireworks, which made the
process of my magazine making much easier.
I also used DTP (desk top publishing) which allowed me to upload the pictures that
I took which also allowed me to make my whole magazine from one computer
software. It also allowed me to do minor editing to my original photos that I had
taken on my camera. Also the camera was also connected to the computer which
again allowed my photos to be uploaded.
