Performance reviews are conducted annually to evaluate an employee's performance over the past year based on their job description. The rater will assess the volume, quality, and timeliness of the employee's work as well as their attitude, interpersonal skills, and adherence to company policy. During the review, the rater will discuss strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement with the employee. The employee can also address any job-related problems. Both the rater and employee will sign the performance review form which is then submitted to HR and used to determine salary increases, bonuses, promotions, demotions, and other employment decisions.
