This document outlines the criteria for assessing Worldwide Governance Indicators (WGI), which includes standardizing data from various sources into comparable units to construct aggregate governance indicators. The indicators monitor six key dimensions of governance: voice and accountability, political stability, government effectiveness, regulatory quality, rule of law, and control of corruption. They also monitor a government's capacity to implement and formulate sound policies.
