2. My name is Pamela McCornell I am the proud
mother of 3 wonderful children. I was born
and raised in Brandon Mississippi. I
graduated from Brandon High. I am currently
attending Belhaven University in the Masters
of Arts in Teaching. I enjoy crocheting,
spending Sundays with my family and
traveling. I am looking forward to an
awesome year.

3. My Philosophy
• I believe that all children can learn. It is my job as an educator
to help each child to reach their full potential. I will help my
students to reach their goals in and outside of the classroom. I
will provide a safe and supporting environment for each student.

5. Classroom Rules
• Come to class prepared
• Keep hands and feet and objects to yourself at all times.
• Follow directions as they are given.
• Raise your hand and wait to be recognized before speaking.
• Treat others the way you want to be treated.
• Remain seated at all times.
• Follow all class rules.
• Always do your best.

7. CONSEQENCES
• 1st Offence: Verbal Warning
• 2nd Offence: Timeout / Conference with the teacher.
Write down rules that were broken and take it home to be signed by
the parent.
• 3rd Offence: 1. Call home to parent
2. In school suspension
• 4th Offence: Parent – Teacher Conference
• 5th Offence: Office Referral

8. Severe Clause:
Any student who fights, damages property, use profanity, or
is disrespectful in any way will be sent to the principal’s office
IMMEDIATLEY!!!!!

9. Classroom Procedures
• Enter calmly and quietly
• Place all homework in
appropriate place
• If you do not have your
homework fill out homework
card and place it in the basket
• NOTE FROM HOME: Place in
correct basket
• Have a set
• Began bell work

10. Trades
• Enter the room quietly
• Excused: Place excuses in tardy
basket and have a seat
• Unexcused: Please sign the tardy
list and have a seat
• Three (3) tardy result in, in
school detention.

11. Pencils Sharpening
• All pencils should be sharpened
before class began (2 pencils)
• Please raise your hand if you
need one sharpened during class
• If you are in the middle of a test
I will sharpen them

12. Throwing Away Trash
• Please keep trash at your
assigned desk until the end of
class
• The student who is on trash
duty for the week will come
around at the end of the day
for all trash
• Please remain in your seat

13. Cafeteria Rules
• Stay in your seat
• Talk quietly
• Eat your food
• Clean up your mess
• Line up quickly and quietly at the
end.

14. Restroom Breaks
• Only one student may use the restroom at a time.
• Students will only be granted passes to the restroom in emergency
situations (2 passes per month).
• Please raise your hand when there is an emergency.
• Wash your hands.
• Come right back and enter in quietly.
