1. Whip Around:
Introduce a sentence fragment (see ideas below, and ask who would like to start. A
student volunteers to begin with the sentence fragment, then finishes her sentence, and
gets to choose the direction of the Whip. You can impose a rule that the sentence has to
be completed in one breath to make the pace of this “whip around.”
