6. COARSE GOALS
• Students will participate in a program of writing activities designed to develop the si
xwriting traits, in order to improve the students' writing.
• Several writing genres will be practiced in a variety of assignments.
• Basic grammatical skills, proofreading, language development, editing, and the writing
process are addressed and reinforced.

7. ACADEMIC GRADES
A - Superior – (90-100)
B – Above Average – (80-89)
C – Average – (70-79)
D – Below Average (65-69)
F – Unsatisfactory – Fail (64-Below)

8. HOMEWORK
Homework will be collected at the START of the Class Period.
Late Homework will be accepted up to 48 hours late only - without Doctor’s Excuse!

9. LATE WORK
Late Work (Assignments, Classwork, and Exams) will be accepted up to 1 day late
ONLY. There will be a 40% point reduction without a Doctor’s Excuse.
