2. Videocon brings 1p/sec ISD calls
Videocon Mobile Services announced that one
paisa per second billing for ISD calls, making
them at par with the local calls.
The company introduced a one-paisa-per-second
calling voucher for US and Canada priced at Rs
57 with 30 days validity.

In another scheme, customers can make calls to
Singapore and Malaysia for Rs 1.69 per minute;
and to the US and Canada for 99 paisa / minute
with a Rs 22 calling voucher.
4. 39 Indian cos in Forbes 'Best
Under A Billion' Asia list
Thirty nine Indian companies, including Jindal
Drilling & Industries and Emami have made it to
Asia's 'Best Under A Billion' 2010 list of
companies compiled by the Forbes magazine.
Among the 200 companies listed by the
magazine, 39 are from India while 71 firms are
based in China and Hong Kong. The number of
Indian companies has increased from 20 in last
year's list..

Other Indian firms in the list include Allied Digital
Services, Exide Industries, Jubilant
Organosys, Spice Mobility, Zydus
Wellness, Amara Raja Industries, Compact Disc
India, Everonn Education and Micro
Technologies.
The selection of the best 200 companies is based
on earnings growth, sales growth, and
shareholders' return on equity in the past 12
months and over three years
6. Infosys BPO loses work from
Deutsche Bank
Deutsche Bank is moving a portion of its back office
processes from Infosys BPO to its captive centre in the
city.
Some 150 people are working on this process. Infosys has
another 500-plus BPO executives working for various other
processes of Deutsche Bank who will remain with Infosys.
Following the bank's decision, Infosys sent an official
communique to the 150 employees giving them the option
to leave the company to be with Deutsche Network
Services for much higher salaries.
7. The salary increment varied from person to
person, but many got about 50% increase. Most
are accepting this MNC job offer.
