This document discusses 12 brand archetypes and their characteristics. The 12 archetypes are Innocent, Regular, Hero, Outlaw, Explorer, Creator, Ruler, Magician, Lover, Caregiver, Jester, and Sage. Each archetype reflects certain personality traits and allows brands to connect with consumers on a human level by embodying traits like purity, loyalty, adventure, leadership, care, humor, and wisdom. Examples are briefly given for the Lover, Sage, and Hero archetypes.
