Significance and Importance
● For example, Rmit password security is
important --- we have to change our
password every few months
● Expanding on that first step
● How?
● Producing behavioural changing projects
● Research- most students are aware of
cybersecurity
● Aim- to educate them on how to prevent it
Point of Difference
● More interaction with students through
videos played during tutorials, ambient
ads and moving posters across
campus.
● We want them to experience that fear
and anxiety of being hacked.
● We want to lay the information out in
front of them instead of finding it for
themselves.

Academic Research
Millennials know how vulnerable having their data
stored online, but when it comes to free gifts and
sales, they likely to give their information away
easily. (Malcolm 2013).

● Students are aware that
cybersecurity is important but
aren’t responding to the
problem
● This is mainly due to ineffective
communication -- students are
not paying attention to previous
marketing schemes.
● We need to change the
behaviour of students towards
their cyber safety
