Present your reflection note (300 words) on your Weebly

• Could technology (in general – not necessarily the end
product of your ‘real life’ project) contribute to participation,
empowerment, and inclusion of vulnerable groups? Are
you aware of what inclusive design means? Do
stakeholders for your projects have an opinion on
technology and participation/empowerment/inclusion?
What are user's needs? What are requirements for the
design? As engineers, we are often tempted to build
specific solutions. Could we approach this in a different
way? What would an inclusive solution look like?

Individual assignment(s) Week 8 • Task 1.3: Watch the movie of Yo Tambien (Me too) and reflect upon participation, empowerment, inclusion for the end users or potential vulnerable stakeholders for your ‘real life’ project. What are pros and cons? Things to consider? Present your reflection note (300 words) on your Weebly website - tab Context of use – Task 1.3
  • 5. Group interaction Week 8 • Could technology (in general – not necessarily the end product of your ‘real life’ project) contribute to participation, empowerment, and inclusion of vulnerable groups? Are you aware of what inclusive design means? Do stakeholders for your projects have an opinion on technology and participation/empowerment/inclusion? What are user's needs? What are requirements for the design? As engineers, we are often tempted to build specific solutions. Could we approach this in a different way? What would an inclusive solution look like?
  • 6. Group interaction Week 8 • Find 2 relevant articles relating to this subject (the topics as such, inclusive design, design for all). Put the articles in the Zotero group CommunityServiceEngineering. • Each student writes a blog on this topic, referring to the articles; we give our fellow student(s) feedback via comments (Blog is available on Weebly).
  • 7. Group interaction Week 8 • Find 2 relevant articles relating to this subject (the topics as such, inclusive design, design for all). Put the articles in the Zotero group CommunityServiceEngineering. • Each student writes a blog on this topic, referring to the articles; we give our fellow student(s) feedback via comments (Blog is available on Weebly).
