Our agenda today is to provide an overview of our company, explain the communication plan we have developed, share who our target audience is, provide steps on how we plan to share the communication plan, and evaluation options for staff.
According to our website, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic (2023), “Kelsey-Seybold provides convenient access to coordinated, compassionate care through multispecialty care centers, a cancer center, women’s health center, two ambulatory surgery center locations, and a specialized sleep center. Our goal: to deliver high-quality, comprehensive medical care with a dose of old-fashioned TLC and personal attention.” We are working to also include preventative care to our patients and community.
The communication plan objectives are to provide consistent and targeted message to our staff in order to reach our specific goals. This organizational plan for communication will help provide clear, coordinated information to the company as a whole (Indeed Editorial Team, 2022). This means everyone will be given the same information. We want everyone on the same page as we apply these new changes here.
Our target audience is every single individual that works and volunteers within our company. We want these changes to be accepted and implemented as soon as possible after the initial training is completed. Heart disease is a serious condition and with the help of each staff member, we can educate our patients and the community around us. Once our staff is fully trained, the next step will be to introduce the communication plan with our patients.
To share the communication plan with the staff, we will be going over statistics, PowerPoint presentations and creating pamphlets together for us to share with patients and individuals in the community.
To evaluate how this communication plan is going within our company and through the community, we will be offering surveys to individuals before they leave our office to gauge if our preventative measures are causing an impact.
We are excited to start training our staff on preventative steps for heart disease to educate our patients and the community. The goal is by introducing this type of communication, we are able to help high risk individuals take control of their health before it is too late.
