for enjoyment and pleasure. They can be physical, mental,
social, or creative.

Physical Activities
These activities involve physical exertion and promote physical
health and fitness.
Example of Physical Activities
• Sports: Basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming
• Outdoor Recreation: Hiking, camping, rock
climbing, kayaking
• Fitness Activities: Weightlifting, yoga,
Pilates, running
Social Activities
These activities involve interacting with others and building
social relationships.
Example of Social Activities
• Socializing: Attending parties, going to the
movies, joining clubs
• Volunteer Work: Contributing to the
community
• Community Events: Festivals, parades,
cultural celebrations
Cultural Activities
These activities involve exploring and appreciating different
cultures and traditions.

• Arts and Crafts: Painting, drawing,
sculpting

Intellectual Activities
These activities stimulate the mind and improve cognitive
function.
