NetDrive is an application that will allow you to connect all of your web files and folders to a local PC drive from anywhere in the world. This is recommended for careful and conscious batch uploading.
× The Road To A #Perfect10 - How To Get Ready For Domino, Sametime, VOP and T...Gabriella Davis
Later this year HCL will be releasing the first major updates for Domino, Sametime, Traveler and Verse on Premises for several years. We've already heard about developments on the way such as a Notes client for tablet and phone as well as structural changes like the removal of the 64GB file limit. The more up to date and well designed your infrastructure is, the easier these upgrades are going to be so In this session Gab will explain how to audit, evaluate and fix your environment as well as what changes you can (and should) do in preparation so you can be fast to move when the products arrive..
Presented At CollabSphere 2018 in Ann Arbor, MI
If you build a site from scratch you will need to upload your files to your hosting account. You can do this via cPanel, but it is more common to use File Transfer Protocol (FTP).
FTP Software lets you drag and drop files from your computer onto your server. SFTP does the same thing, but with an added layer of security protecting your login credentials and content transferred.
Secure Shell (SSH) lets you access your server using command line software like Terminal. If you learn more advanced development you may use SSH along with version control software like Git.
Http Service will help us fetch external data, post to it, etc. We need to import the http module to make use of the http service. Let us consider an example to understand how to make use of the http service.

As a rule, an ordinary user has associated such concepts as "webserver" or "hosting", with something completely incomprehensible context. Meanwhile, there is nothing complicated in this matter. We will try to explain what constitutes a web server, why it is needed, and how it works, especially without technical details, but on the fingers, so to speak. To be separate, let's focus on creating and configuring such a server on a home computer terminal or a laptop.

The Web is a network of computers all over the world.
All the computers in the Web can communicate with each other.
All the computers use a communication standard called HTTP (The Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is an application protocol for distributed, collaborative, hypermedia information systems. HTTP is the foundation of data communication for the World Wide Web. Hypertext is structured text that uses logical links (hyperlinks) between nodes containing text.).
Content designers want highly customized learning content, but that requires a developer to create custom HTML/CSS/JavaScript for each course. And this causes developers to spend too much time copying and pasting content and applying the HTML markup instead of focusing on developing the functionality. The solution is the Adapt authoring tool. This tool allows developers to create tools that content designers can use to deliver content.
cloud computing provides a variety of computing resources , from servers and storage to enterprise applications such as email, security, backup/DR, voice, all delivered over the Internet. The Cloud delivers a hosting environment that is immediate, flexible, scalable, secure, and available – while saving corporations money, time and resources.

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
2. What is NetDrive?
NetDrive is an application that will allow you to connect
all of your web files and folders to a local PC drive from
anywhere in the world.
NetDrive uses secure SSL, so all of your data is
encrypted when using the product.
3. How to install NetDrive?
To install NetDrive on your home computer or laptop,
begin by downloading the installation executable from
http://www.netdrive.net/download.html
After you have downloaded the executable, double click
on the Netdrive-SETUP.exe icon to begin installation.
6. Open NetDrive using one of these methods:
Double-click the NetDrive icon in your system tray.
Click the Start menu > Programs > NetDrive, then
click the NetDrive icon.

7. Site Name: Enter a name (any
name) for your new site
Site IP or URL: Use the full
URL of your web address
Server Type: WebDav
Drive: Choose a non-existing
local drive letter of your choice
Uncheck ‘Connect as
anonymous’
Enter your website username
and password
Click on the ‘Connect’ button
Click New Site.

8. Open your ‘My Computer’ and you should see a drive
(in the example, it’s Drive Z) with a listing of your
website files and folders
You may also save data,
copy data, move data and
delete data to or from your
"X" drive, as you would
normally do using My
Computer.

9. Word of caution
While NetDrive is ideal for batch uploading, copying and
moving web pages within a server’s namespace, please bear in
mind that using Netdrive does not automatically carry and
update links between two or more items automatically nor does
it update a content’s properties (e.g. title, summary, related
items, etc.). In fact, one should always update file title &
description after upload using Plone web interface because
sometimes Netdrive would put description like "Error: may not
be a pdf file...“ when the file is actually OK.
Cut/copy/paste via web interface is much faster.
