This document outlines the process for a web quest on memories and the simple past tense for third grade students. It details that students will first complete exercises on websites about the simple past tense. They will then work in pairs to create a comic using the simple past tense to describe events from their last vacation. Resources with practice exercises are provided. Students will be evaluated based on completing the online exercises, collaborating with a partner, the comic layout, and correct English use of the simple past tense. 2. INTRODUCTION
Did you take vacation last Holidays? In this web you are going to practice the
simple past tense with exercises that will help you to understand it in a better
or fun way and you will make a comic about it.

3. THE TASK
First you have to visit the web sites recommended in this web and fill the
exercises in, then design your comic where you have to draw or paste images
or pics showing situations in past and you have to write structures
expressing past tense

4. THE PROCESS
•Fill in individually the exercises that you will find in the links
•Find a partner and start working in pairs making your comic
•Talk about your last vacation, if you had fun/ if it liked you …
•Gather the information each other
•You can draw or paste images or pics about your holidays
•You have to use your own words to show the events that happened
•Trough your comic, show the events that you liked the most in your holidays
giving a small written narration in each pic, visual or drawing
•Make your comic
•Share it with your classmates
•Make a quiz
