The document discusses a location recce for filming in Southend. It was chosen because it was a hot day, providing scenic filming opportunities at the beach and pier. The pier train and nearby underground tracks allowed footage to be linked. The town also has an arcade and is urban and popular, giving an adventurous feel to the video. Access is by car, train, bus and there are cafes and public toilets. Daytime filming was planned and family would be contacted if any problems arose. Consent would be needed from anyone prominently featured who was not part of the filming group.
This document provides location details for filming at Go Ape, an outdoor adventure park. It notes that Go Ape offers a remote natural setting that provides contrast to typical London footage and conveys a sense of adventure. The location is suitable for a video about connecting with people and adventure. Safety precautions are outlined, such as being harnessed on course and having emergency family/worker contacts. Consent needs to be obtained from anyone who may be filmed, including those not in the filming group.
Camden, Soho, and Liverpool Street in London were chosen as filming locations due to their busy, urban settings with many people and public transportation access. Filming in these areas will feature the general public, so consent will need to be obtained from anyone who is the focus of filming. A variety of food, drink and restroom options are available, and filming will take place during mid-afternoon with family contact by mobile phone.
Falling or getting injured while participating in obstacle courses can be avoided by properly attaching safety harnesses, paying close attention to safety instructions, asking for help if unsure how to attach equipment, keeping walking paths clear of tripping hazards, securely holding cameras rather than filming oneself, and focusing on crossing obstacles safely instead of filming during the activity.
Staying safe while filming in busy urban areas requires being aware of your surroundings at all times. Look where you are going when crossing streets or walking near trains, and only stop to film at designated areas. Avoid running or distractions that could lead to trips and falls. Keep your distance from construction sites and moving equipment. Secure your filming gear and delete any footage that could acknowledge you are recording without permission.
This document provides safety tips for filming outdoors and identifies common risks like crashing a car from distraction, getting hit by a car while not paying attention, falling over uneven ground, getting caught by the tide, and falling from bridges or piers. It recommends making sure filming does not distract drivers, parking when possible to film, watching where you walk, paying attention to foot placement on uneven surfaces, checking tide times and filming away from water, and paying attention to your surroundings when near drops.
The music video for "My Love" by Route 94 featuring Jess Glynne follows a man through a nightclub as he pursues a woman. The video uses infrared effects to create a surreal atmosphere and quick cuts to match the fast-paced song. It ends with the man and woman kissing and entering her apartment, implying a one-night stand. Voyeurism is a key element as the video shows intimate moments not normally seen.
The rise of disco in the 1970s made dance music popular among the public. By the late 1970s, electronic dance music using synthesizers and drum machines was emerging. In the 1980s, house music developed from disco in gay clubs in New York and Chicago, using catchy melodies and four-on-the-floor beats. Also in the 1980s, techno developed in Detroit using electronic rhythms and sampled sections of old records. Common conventions in dance music videos include themes of freedom, clubbing, dancing, and sexuality; strobe or special lighting; quick cuts and camera angles matching the beat; and locations in clubs or festivals.

In an education system, it is understood that assessment is only for the students, but on the other hand, the Assessment of teachers is also an important aspect of the education system that ensures teachers are providing high-quality instruction to students. The assessment process can be used to provide feedback and support for professional development, to inform decisions about teacher retention or promotion, or to evaluate teacher effectiveness for accountability purposes.
A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
