Adam OK Thank you and welcome to our Audience today, we are glad you could join us A quick introduction about GSX…We have been in business for over 17 years with our headquarters in Geneva Switzerland. We have 2 offices in the USA (in Buffalo, NY and one in Boston MA where I am located). Also have offices in the UK, France, Switzerland and in China.
  3. Adam Some of the recent awards we have received are for the Best of TechEd in 2012 for our SharePoint Product and the Best of TechEd in 2013 for our Exchange produce. We also have won the gold award from Msexchange.org.
  4. Adam To speak about some of our customers, we provide monitoring for companies like HSBC, Boeing and Johnson Controls. However the size of the company does not matter, what matters is how critical the messaging or SharePoint environment is.

So the focus of the webinar today will be on how GSX Monitors & Reports on Exchange Online environments but that is not the only platform that we can help you manage… We have the functionality to monitor IBM Notes, IBM Traveler, IBM Sametime, IBM QuickR, BlackBerry Enterprise Server and of course Microsoft Exchange On-Premise, Hybrid and SharePoint.

OK so we speak with a LOT of Exchange customers around the world and from our conversations, we have gathered some of the most popular issues that Exchange Online administrators face… First, Messaging administors that have migrated to Office 365 were used to having a certain level of control over their environment…With on prem exchange, they have a certain level of control over of course the availability, performance, the Quality of Service for their end users and more control over the VIP mailboxes in their environment…This can be difficult to give up control, but of course there are ways to take back some of this control. One thing we have heard about that is very difficult for IT departments is that…when you move to the cloud, you give up a lot of control, but of course your end users still look to the IT department to fix issues, provide answers and troubleshoot…especially when there are problems with the performance! This can be especially stressful when the ceo or top level executives are complaining and looking for help! Another thing we hear a lot is when a company has multiple critical offices or locations that the IT manages. Unfortunately with office 365, depending on the location of your offices, each office may have a different user experience connecting to the O365 datacenter. This can be a nightmare to manage and of course put a lot of stress on a support or help desk. With O365, you have the ability to view the health dashboard, but this is limited for reporting! Without a tool to report on the quality of Service, it will take a lot of time to create manual reports or is just nearly impossible.

So as you will see in the upcoming demo, GSX is basically an Virtual Administrator or Robot User that can sit at any location to automatically: discovers the exchange environment that it has to manage Acts just like a user would to test every single critical part of the environment to proactively detect any potential issues, decreases in performance and help you troubleshoot to lower your mean time to repair.
