Introduction:
Greetings, prepare to become a time traveler and go back decades as you discover facts and data about
some of our most well-known presidents! You will uncover many things you did not know and a few you
did on the way. Each time traveler will have a partner to help them complete research. So, sit back,
buckle up, and enjoy the ride!
Task:
Unfortunately the time travel machine is in the shop for maintenance, so you will use the Internet as your
resource instead. Don’t fret, it’ll be fun! Choose two of these presidents to do research on: George
Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, or Ronald Reagan.
Each time traveler will explore a different decade to discover information about the president they are
researching. They will answer all the questions on the President Hunt. Students will then construct a
Venn diagram and compare/contrast the information they learned about their president with their partner.
Process:
Each time traveler should already have a copy of the President Hunt, but if you do not click
hereto access it.
Choose which president you would like to explore. DO NOT CHOOSE THE SAME
PRESIDENT AS YOUR PARTNER!
Once you and your partner have completed your President Hunt make a Venn diagram that
appropriately compare/contrast your presidents.
Below are links that will guide you through your search to discover more about the presidents.
